excellent product
I'm very pleased with the quality, timely received, the packing for shipment was well padded and no broken peices. I recommend this mortar and pestle for every cook to have on hand.

Perfect for my needs!
Arrived VERY promptly thankfully via FedEx, not USPS which is why it also arrive in PERFECT condition! The colours of both, the mortar and pestle are an appealing match. It's sturdy. I tested it by grinding dried, split peas, and it worked very well. The only reason I hold-back on 1 star is because there's the slightest "brown" tint in the stone. But that's Nature. It certainly has nothing to do with the utility of the item. Otherwise, I couldn't be happier. I can recommend this with-out hesitation.

A nice staple to my kitchen and bar. The set is easy to use for breaking down fresh and packaged herbs for cooking.

When I received this item it was completely broken in half at the base I was extremely disappointed as I wanted for this for quite some time
