Good kit at a great price.
Accurate description, great price and prompt shipping - pretty much everything you want from an online purchase. Our first batch of mead made with honey from our hives will be brewing soon. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Review from a novice mead maker
I used this kit for my first brew. If you feel intimidated by brewing for the first time, this is a good kit to buy. Has everything you need, with just a couple things I would have prefered to change: - Star san as the sanitizer - Lalvin 71b as the yeast - Go ferm and fermaid o as yeast nutrients - A test tube for the hydrometer This isn't a perfect starter kit (honestly don't think a perfect kit exists) but this gets you almost all of the way there. Of course buying everything on your own is cheaper and better, but this is a good substitute.

Home Brew Mead making kit
Missing one packet of easy clean, but other than that everything is fine. Have not tried to make anything yet.

Forget Kits. Piece Out Yourself
the bucket will not seal properly, no matter what I tried. 1st ferment in the carboy instead, tossed the worthless bucket.
