I purchase the fermentation bucket to attempt to make homemade wine. the bucket worked excellent. my first batch turned out okay good flavor a little too sweet for my taste but it sure did pack a punch!

haven't used it yet, but includes everything pictured. seems solid.

great buckets but no thermometer

Let's start with “I'm not a spring chicken”. The lid is very hard to get on and off. I had to hammer it on and pry it off with a screw driver. The tap at the bottom seems like an odd place as the lees drain first. In wine making I want to leave the bottom junk in the container. That being said. It does do the job. It's not the best design for a wine making primary.

This is NOT my first kit like this and I understand that the lids are supposed to be very tight but in this case the lid will NOT go onto the bucket. I called home brew Ohio and they were rude and told me that “all kids come from molds and are all the same” I guess they don't understand quality control nor the injection molding process. The kid I received is not completely and perfectly round and should've been rejected at factory or Home brew Ohio warehouse but it wasn't. I asked politely to please send another lid but they refused Funny thing is they told me to use my knee to close lid but little they'll do they know that I'm a big guy and even when I put all my strength and weight into it.. nothing happened. I even hit it with a rubber dead blow mallet and still nothing I wouldn't recommend anyone buying this because customer service is awful and nonexistent There are many other better alternatives for much less money btw
