The couple get 2 stars for showing up on time. When they came inside, I said, "Well, you're the experts, you know what to do." They shook their heads. A kind of cleaning was all they knew. My wife handed them the checkoff list that Handy has to insure deep cleaning is done with specific tasks. We didn't even get a regular cleaning. After they left, 3 1/2 hours later, the hardwood floors were dirty after I swiffered them. Tops of glass tables weren't cleaned. Trash not taken out. It was not worth $30 much less $200. Not sure I blame the workers or Handy but we will never use them again.
No one would take my cleaning job and it was three hours before they were to clean my house, and then they told me they would try and find somebody to take my house to clean and I told them that was the time I wanted it cleaned and not when they could find someone, so I told them to cancel my service and I want a refund and they argued with me and tried to tell me that they could not give me a refund because it was not 24 hours in advance and I told them that they were the ones that was causing the problem not me so they are in the process of giving me a refund and they better give me the refund!! And I can't believe Walmart would even let a company that is not reliable to be associated with them
I requested a home cleaning through Walmart services section, on their app. I requested my cleaning, not knowing what to expect. I waited for some sort of confirmation, but never received one. Yesterday, the doorbell rang and here's one cleaner, dressed up like she was going out for the evening, at the door with nothing but a cell phone. Our dog was barking, and she said she doesn't do dogs which I understand. Again, I received no confirmation text/email, and my dog was doing her job. We absolutely secured the dog, in our bedroom, no problem. She said "okay let me go get my bucket, and she left! She got in her car and left! Walmart's services have really slacked off, along with the quality of the services we use, like the automotive department. The last time my daughter used their tire service, the lug nuts we're barely hand tight! I have to report her and get a refund. It was $160 for a cleaning, which of course you pay up front. It shouldn't have to be paid until the cleaning is complete. That's how it works with other cleaning agencies. If you're interested in having your house professionally cleaned, don't hire Walmart! Bad and regrettable decision. Now to get the money back!
Disaster from start to finish. Did not receive the activation code. An automated system scheduled the cleaning appointment without notifying me. I tried contacting Walmart and was told to contact Walmart-Angi support which is different. They're a foreign call center. I got a whiff of Handy, which is a company that is probably the entity behind this SNAFU. It's as if Angi is farming this job out to Handy, which is far inferior. I was able to reschedule the appointment with a lot of effort. Then I was able to confirm the appointment the day before with Walmart Angi. Then I contacted the cleaner the day of the appointment and she confirmed. But then she didn't show up. I had ordered the cleaning for an elderly gentleman who's having trouble getting around. He was ready to get some help and prepared for the appointment but now feels TRICKED.
Canceled by Angi repeatedly, each time exactly one hour prior to scheduled time of service to begin. Ultimately canceled by Walmart due to “ no provider available in my area”
Honestly, I do not know how Angie stays in business. This was another failure from the Angie/Walmart collaboration. Paid for the cleaning, rescheduled to a time that worked for my schedule, and the Maid canceled after the time he was due to be in my house. So he did not even show me the courtesy of canceling beforehand.
I would recommend this if had sent someone out who wasn't high and who actually knew what the job was. He cleaned but only a few spots he didn't clean 4 rooms. The concept is amazing but to truly find good professional cleaners is what needs improving. Keep trying for sure. Maybe I will try again. The young man they sent was very nice but cleaning isn't his thing.
Garbage. I never heard from the "pro". I tried to reschedule through the app and still never heard from anyone nor did anyone show up at my house. I received text messages the day of saying that somebody would be there and they never showed up. The phone number I was given for my pro didn't work. The process of getting a refund from $159 was impossible.
We attempted to purchase this service multiple times. It was rescheduled more than once. The cleaning was finally supposed to occur today and we received emails and texts confirming the service. When the service provider didn't show up and I received no communication about a schedule change, I called to find out what happened and was told they weren't able to find anyone. I'm extremely frustrated that there was no proactive communication. Don't try booking this, it's not worth the hassle.
I scheduled the deep clean service for my upcoming nuptials. I never received any information as to who the "PRO" was that was scheduled. I took the day off from work so that I could be home for whomever they hired. I received an EMAIL 45 minutes before my appointment saying that they had to cancel my appointment and reschedule for a different day.
