In the beginning, before the time of day, I had one bar outside. I had to wobble outside to take calls. We was known as the outsider family. So I took a mission within the internet expressway to seek a better way. I stumbled upon "weBoost" which promises a better way. It promised a land of many bars, a new world of communication within my home. The voice within me told me "Yo fool, go for it", so I did. Now my family rejoice within our home praising the 4 bars!!!
I was paying for 4GLTE but was receiving 1X with only one bar signal & dropping off line constantly. Carrier told me my location was on the extreme edge of cell tower range & nothing they could do to improve signal. With WEBOOST I get 4GLTE with 4 bar strength & don't loose my downloads before they are installed. Also I no longer have to go outside the house to find a signal for my cell phone, winter is coming.
We live in Maine, and in one of last true "dead zones". We are out in the forest, in a notch between two hills. Without an antenna, we literally have no signal at all. We installed a Zboost system years ago, but only gained a very week phone signal, and spotty, unreliable 3G. This summer I installed the WeBoost. Setup was almost too easy! I put the antenna on a pole the stands about 15 feet above our one level home. As soon as I got it pointed in the right direction(and over a ridge, no less) it was like BANG!... There it is! I can now make calls from almost anywhere inside the house, and my texts send right away. The best part though, is that we now have a strong and steady 4G in most of the house! Needless to say, we went way over our data limit the first month! So yes... I most definitely recommend this product!
I have a hunting cabin built in a shipping container. My cell signal at that location is 1 to 2 bars when standing outside and ZERO inside the metal shipping container. I had set my expectations low...if I can just get it to work at all inside...that will be good enough. I installed the external antenna on a 10 foot piece of PVC pipe ran the cable through to the far opposite end of the container. Plugged it in and WOW! My AT&T Iphone 6 and Verizon Ipad Mini both showed 5 bubbles of signal strength. I ran Data Speed Test and got 20+MB download speeds! Very satisfied.
Installed it and instant improvement! Reasonably easy to install and came with lots of pieces to install in varied ways. The signal is much stronger and seems better. I have no noticeable changes when I move around.
We use this in our 5th Wheel rv. We travel full time. It works ok but I always have 1-3 blinking lights. It's at the very front of the RV, over 35' from the inside antenna and on a 20' pole. Tech support says it can't be near the inside antenna, etc. Seems it should be far enough away.
We have been using it for over a month & pleased with the results. Signal improved from -105dBm to -92dBm. Much better when 12 to 24" from desktop antenna -72dBm. I think I would have to upgrade to part number 304447 to help increase the range. I would recommend!
I am very happy I bought this, but it was a little difficult understanding the instructions. It was easier after I downloaded the full instructions. It does not work to the capacity that I thought it would, but I am not losing calls when I go from room to room any more and I always have cell service, at least 3 bars.
We bought this to improve connectivity in our 5th wheel trailer. There are place we camp sometimes where the signal strength is to low for a HotSpot to work and cell phone connectivity goes in and out. Turning the weBoost on always makes both work great. Only issue, you need to be within 3 feet of the internal antenna.
The unit helps, but disconnects are common. I don't get the large increase in signal strength that some mention in the other reviews. 5G is not good at all. Disappointing at best.
