Better than I thought
this is a velvet material, and it's really nice. The color is a bit more greyish, but it didn't bother me. It does have a smell when you open it, but it's a new item... I would expect some smell. It's very comfortable too. Over all i do recommend

Perfect ottoman for living room (and toys)
Absolutely perfect for my living room. I have some silver-gray upholstered pieces along with some beige pieces in my living room and there is no conflict with color. I would say the color is "greige" - neither gray or beige. I did not see any purple undertones as another review stated. Very satisfied with the purchase!

not a beige color at all
It's not a beige color at all. Ive checked this item here and there including amazon to see the beige color in real photos and decided to buy one here but I cant even define the color of the ottoman Ive received. It is not beige in the photos above. like purple mixed with light grey? The design and size are good but not satisfied with my purchase because of the color.
