Do NOT think you can pour in ypur liquid, cheese or chocolate %26 be OK. Seems all of these need to be PREMADE, THEN put into the pot with proper temperature to maintain %26 cook food properly. Otherwise nice pot!!

good buy
I really like that this doesn't have an extra cord to plug in where it can become disconnected - so many fondue pots have that! I'll have to try to spray the bottom because the cheese definitely stuck to the stainless steel. It's a nice looking set and worked well.

Good Choice
It takes lots of experimenting to find the right temperature. I filled it with water first, and it took 2-3 hours before I finally got it right for the narrow range for melting chocolate.

Snazzy but hard o clean if cheese gets burnt
Very attractive unit, heats quickly. Unfortunately, there were 2 things I wasn't happy with: 1) the lighted dial only lites up on high temperature, and 2) if you burn any cheese on this stainless steel pot, get the Comet out to clean it. Otherwise, I enjoyed using it for an informal cheese fondue dinner.
