So soothing I absolutely love it

I bought this for my husband several years ago, after I one at his brother's house. We love it. It is so soothing. It works so well, we have never had an issue. I love walking through our home, to find my husband has selected a new pattern. Great gift. Mesmerizing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Homedics drift is a beautifully crafted, mesmerizing piece of decor. It has a good weight to it, the materials feel premium, and the fitment is incredibly precise. I especially love the dark walnut wood that wraps around the device. The set up was extremely easy. You are given sand, a rake, a metal marble, the plug, the glass top of the device, and the device itself. You pour the sand onto the surface of the device, use the rake to distribute the sand evenly, place the metal marble in the center, and put the glass top on the device. You then plug in the device to power it, and seamlessly connect it to your phone via the Homedics app. The Homedics drift is very customizable in the app. For example, you can choose from countless colors and designs to fit your vibe. Another thing I love is the natural sounds the device makes. As the metal marble moves across the sandy surface, the sounds it makes are weirdly relaxing. Overall, I think the Homedics drift is a worthy investment to upgrade your living space.

I have to say this is one of my favorite products that I have ever received and the most common one. Now that I have this I have moments where I just can't stop staring at the patterns that it creates. I really think this is such a fun product and I really enjoy how you can change the lighting and the patterns that it creates. It really is such a beautiful piece of art as well since it creates so many different things and you also can feel like an artist yourself since you are the one controlling it through an app. Not to mention it was very easy to put together with the materials given as the steps were short and simple and very nin effortless to do. This is really a beautiful piece to have in a home is something very special and unique and I'm very happy to have this as decorative addition in my home.

The included sand is super fine-grained, but because of seasonal allergies I've been running the Drift without sand for now. Even so, it's still relaxing to watch the steel ball quietly trace patterns across the surface. That said, there are two improvements I'd love to see: (1) it would be great if the ambient sounds played directly from the device instead of through my phone. (2) I wish there were an option to create and upload custom patterns.

Overall the design is very nice, from the wood frame to the glass top making it feel high end. The app is slow to respond to inputs and the colors in the app do not match the led light precisely. This should be fixable with an app update.

Especially in the role of my profession, I will use this to help relax me and remain calm. This is beautiful and a brilliant. So many patterns and relaxing sounds! The app program is terrible, does not work properly!! It hardly ever allows me to download new images to a playlist. After a couple months of owning this the whole entire machine quit working. I have done a reset to factory settings. It works for two days then quits working again. This thing has so much potential but with the HORRIBLE app program it's just a mediocre piece of equipment. I wanted so badly got love it but just cannot. I would not waste your money!! There are other kinetic sand table top displays out there.

App does not work and does not let you download patterns. Stops frequently and freezes. No one from support ever responds. Got as a gift and wanted to love it
