HoMedics Pedicure Heated Foot Spa Bubble Foot Massager

I ordered the HoMedics Thera-P pedicure foot spa for my daughter, she is a RN that walks usually around four miles on concrete floors on a typical work day. Her feet hurt by the end of a long 12 hour shift. The HoMedics Thera-P pedicure foot spa boasts that the 6 hydro-therapy jets soothe feet. So I thought it was worth a shot to get this item for her. She was very impressed with how soothing the massaging bubbles were, the system also heats, decreasing the soreness in my daughter's feet. My daughter says that the jet action setting feels like a creek rippling across her feet. My daughter is a girly-girl and she really enjoys getting manicures and pedicures. This system offers 3 pedicure attachments as well, to soften, cleanse, and relax your feet. I believe my daughter's favorite is the massaging attachment. She says it feels a lot like going to the salon however she does not have to be bothered with a pedicurist and she feels more relaxed at home. She really loves the HoMedics Thera-P pedicure foot spa. I would suggest this item to any hardworking, on the go woman. Every woman should pamper herself occasionally and this is the affordable method to do so!

Ahhhhhh... Excuse me...I just put my feet in the footbath and it feels so good. Ok...time to handle my business... The spa I am using was provided by the good folk at the Walmart Spark Reviewer Program. It is the "HoMedics Pedicure Spa Footbath with Heat." Folks, this spa has everything. First of all, it is an excellent mode of soaking those tired aching tootsies. It has massaging bubbles that caress your feet and relaxes them. The spa also heats up to add to the satisfaction. Being a retired runner and supervisor, I am no stranger to being on my feet for long periods of time. I would go home with feet aching so bad that I could hardly walk. I wish I had this spa in those days. It also features a spinning pedicure center . It's truly like getting a spa treatment at home. Another feature I like about this "HoMedics" product is that it contains three pedicure attachments. These help to keep your feet soft, clean and relaxed. Then there are the jets..."hydro-therapy" jets with six streams of water that add even more comfort to the whole experience. It is easy to set up. Just plug it in and adjust the easily marked setting to your satisfaction. There is also a removable splashguard.

I'm on my feet for most of the day, either standing at a counter or moving back and forth with packages or for whatever my customer needs. By the end of the day, my feet are achy and ready for some pampering. This spa is Wonderful. I have had other spas before and for me, there is no comparison. This spa has bubbles coming from below as well as two small jet sprays at the back which provide some extra comfort to all areas of my feet, from top to bottom. It also comes with 3 attachments, a pumice stone to help smooth, a brush which just feels fantastic and a massaging attachment which also just feels so nice. Simply fill the spa with warm, I used Extra warm water and soak, activate the bubbles or add on your preferred attachment to pamper your feet. The controls are clearly marked and easy to control with your toes. There is a clearly marked water line for recommended maximum amount to add. I would Not use this unit on carpet as the bubbles are fairly powerful, more so than our aforementioned 'bubble spa' had and there is a fair amount of splashing. Also remember to keep a towel handy. The attachments fit on top of the unit and will spin when you push down on them. There is little holders in the front of the spa which hold the ones not in use. Also on the floor of the unit are nodules that you can slide your feet back and forth on for extra comfort while you enjoy the bubbles. I must admit the pumice and the brush attachments are my favorite. I soaked, bubbled, pumiced and brushed for maybe 15 or 20 minutes and when I finished my feet felt relaxed, pampered and wonderful. Love this, would definitely recommend.

The Homedics Pedicure Spa Footbath with heat is a nice treat for your feet. Your tired feet will feel immediate relief. There are two cycles to choose from when soaking your feet the “Bubble Massage & Heat” and “Jet Spa”. They are very good at soothing tired feet. I also liked the spinning pedicure center with three attachments a pumice stone, massager and foot brush. With just the touch of your foot or toe you can enjoy a pumice scrub for your heels. You can switch to the massage attachment which helps aching feet. Each attachment turns in a circular motion and you move your foot to the area needing relief. The only thing missing from the Spa Footbath is the heat. The directions state “put warm water” (or as hot as you can take it) in the Footbath. The Footbath does not keep your water warm. Selecting “Jet Spa” will cool your water quicker, it’s better to use “Bubble Massage & Heat”. I would recommend purchasing the Homedics Pedicure Spa Footbath. You can have “Spa Treatment” and rejuvenation from the comfort of your own home.

This foot pedicure/bath is reminiscent of the ConAir product we previously owned - with two or three differences. First, it's quite a bit lighter (a nice feature, especially when filled with water). Second, it has storage nubs for the various pedicure adapters (brush, pumice, etc.). And third, it has the extra feature of the foot fountain (or "Jet Action", as they call it). It has a bubble/spa action like the ConAir which is (in my opinion) more useful than the fountain effect. I have to say, however, the user's manual has more "don'ts" than "do's" and one caution that's a bit scary when first read - "NOT recommended for use by diabetics." I'm sure there is some logic to this statement, but I think it's perhaps more appropriate for someone with Type I and nerve pain or other foot problems than the more common Type II without such side effects. I highly recommend placing a towel beneath the unit when in use - it can get a bit sloppy in both modes of operation. Even with the splash guard in place, you'll get spillage if you move your foot out from under the flow of water. The heating is kind of a "no-op" - it really doesn't heat the water (you must start with hot water if that's what you want). It will make an attempt (only during the bubble action) to keep the water warm, but it will eventually end up tepid at best. They recommend you change options by tapping the control panel with your toe. It works, but it automatically causes water to drip off your foot outside the container (ergo, the need for the towel). It would seem a bit less messy to simply perform the selection with your finger and leave your feet in the water. Overall, it's decent unit - with several nice "upgrades" from the ConAir, and I'd definitely recommend it to others.

I would really like to recommend this, but I don't think I would. It's easy to use, and a great idea, but I was disappointed. It has two settings, "Bubble Massage & Heat" and "Jet Action." You do all the setting up: place on a surface that won't be harmed if it gets wet, plug it in, fill with warm water to the fill line, sit down, choose the setting you want with your toe, put your feet in and relax. It has 3 pedicure attachments: a pumice stone, cleansing brush and massage roller. You place those on the top, and to use, just press down with your foot and they spin around. That parts not so bad. You have to use warm water (it won't heat cold water), but once you turn on the bubbles or jet, it very quickly cools the water off, and I couldn't detect any heat at all on either setting. There are 'raised nodes' on the bottom so you can rub your feet back and forth (being careful not to splash water out) for a sort of massage, but other than soaking your feet in rapidly cooling water, or using the attachments, there wasn't much to it. It's nice looking, lightweight, easy to use and clean, but as I said, a bit of a disappointment.

I decided to use this after I got back home from a day of standing on my feet for various medical tests. I never used one of these before but my mother had something similar in the early 2000's, and she only used it a couple times because it made so much noise, this HoMedics machine also makes noise and sort of made my floor vibrate. I thought the machine would heat water or at least keep it hot, but it didn't, you practically have to pour boiling hot water in it and let it cool down some before you stick your feet in, but you have to know the water will get cold again before you are done with your treatment. I'm not a big fan of sticking my feet in water with electricity, but it seems safe. I do wish the footbath was deeper and that it came with more attachments, or at least two of each. All-in-all this machine is fair.

The heat did not work. So all I got was basically a bubble maker. The instructions say to put warm/hot water in the spa and the unit would keep it warm/hot. Within five minutes the water was cold. The pedicure attachments are a joke. I am very unhappy with this product.

I am disappointed in this product. Your water gets cold almost immediately. The accessories are worthless. They do not work well at all. If you apply too much pressure they completely stop turning. The motor is barely a low purr. I didn't use it right away and it was too late to return it 😣

DOES NOT DO WHAT IT IS DEZIGNED TO DO ! FEET FELT BETTER.. BUT A POT OF WATER AND AN AQUARIUM HEATER WOULD WORK BETTER.. MINE.. LEFT SWITCH DOESNT WORK.. IT CANT KEEP HOT .. HOT WATER .. EVEN WARM.. IT FELT LIKE IT WAS COOLING THE WATER.. I LEFT IT RUN 10 MINUTES MORE AND IT NEVER RAISED TEMP.. AT ALL... THE UN-SCRUBBER WITH 3 CHANGABLE HEADS.. I COULD HAVE DUCT TAPED A TOOTH BRUSH ON MY OWN POT OF WATER.. (WITH THE AQUARIUM HEATER TOO). VERY WEAK.. NOT SURE WHO ITS DEZIGNED FOR.. IF YOU HAVE SOFT SEXY FEET ! THIS IS FOR YOU ! ! im sending it back.. and i will spend more money on a better one.
