This HoMedics Thera-P Percussion Massager is exactly what someone like me has been searching for. It is targeted tool that you can use to go straight to the exact location of your pain or just to massage or soothe muscles. It’s something that I have not found in any other product. I can adjust the intensity of the pulse/ massage kneading away my sore tired muscles or pain. It is easily held in one hand so you can do it to yourself or to another person. The controls to increase or decease pulsating motion is all at the tip of your thumb. And even better there is an Automatic that randomly cycles through various patterns. The relief I feel is incredible and just even to use to feel a good massage is worth every cent.

This is the best purchase I have ever made for back and neck pain or any type of muscle pain, the and affordable the cord it is very Long It is a little bit heavy but it doesn’t make my arm tired after one use of it I feel a big difference on my back, I would definitely recommend this product.

I really like this massager! I have a very physical job and am often sore after work. I have gone through several of these through the years. My last one has been in a drawer for years because they just haven’t been effective until now. This massager is so powerful that I use the lowest setting most of the time. It is amazingly compact, not bulky like the old ones. I highly recommend!!

It doesn't have heat like advertised, but it still is very soothing. I like how the balls actually roll around when it's in use so it helps work out stiff muscles. It also is much more gentle than some other massagers. I would recommend this or get as a gift for family or friends.

Way back in the 90's, I got a massager that had rotation that very closely mimics a massage by human hand. It was called Shiatsu so I expected the same from this. This massager doesn't quite work like that...it's more just vibrating nubs that have some give to them so you can better get them where you need them. I mainly use this for neck tension/ tight muscles and it does ok, but even on low makes your brain rattle and doesn't work quite as well as what I would consider a true Shiatsu massager. It's a little bulky in your hand, but does have a long cord, which is nice.

The massager is pretty good for soothing sore muscles. It has a couple different settings, so you can choose how fast it vibrates. The balls do not move around like a massage chair does so it will be a repetative vibration in one spot. It is handheld and relatively small so you can massage yourself with it. It definitely feels good ! You will probably need a partner to get your back muscles though. But it is a nice tool to relieve a sore muscle!

As a senior I thought this HoMedics Thera-p Percussion Massager would help alleviate the aches and pains I have. Because it is too heavy for me I was unable to hold the massager on my neck and shoulder for more than a moment. I needed someone to hold it to my sore spots as some I couldn't reach and others couldn't give the treatment for more than a few seconds. The product would probably be helpful to someone stronger who could hold it for a longer period of time or if another person could apply it to the sore spots.

Way too big and rough for a smaller person. Even though it was listed to have heat, this model does not. Very disappointed in this product. Its supposed to help with tense muscles but this one really doesn't I can't begin to imagine using it on my neck!

I have continually tried to use the Homedics Thera-P Percussion Full Body Massager With Heat. But it is very top heavy and has a very small handle. It states it has heat but it does not, it works just fine but like I stated it is heavy and awkward to hold. Not only that but I have arthritis so trying to juggle it is difficult. I would only reccomend if you have the strength to hold it with one hand.
