HoMedics Wellness Portable Light Therapy Lamp

Winters are brutal where I live. Lots of cloudy days. I used this light for 30 minutes every day while I used the treadmill. I felt great all winter, no winter blues. The timer was useful for timing how longI used the light and how long I was on the treadmill.

Bought this because of full spectrum and no UV. Came with a Quick Start card and safety sheet. But no other instructions. I have no idea what the difference is in the intensity choices. My halogen lamp is brighter than the brightest setting. The lamp is about 5 inches tall and 2.5 inches wide. I work in a darkened room, with no windows. In front of of 2 big monitors. Day Job. Since I'm a Night Owl, I 'm using this light to help fall asleep earlier. I blast my face for about 15 min, right after I wake up. So far , so good. Fell asleep at midnight, (instead of 2am) for past couple nites. Comes with a USB A cord, with an AC adapter cube. Several options for timing, and intensity.
