I was debating getting a new bookshelf from Ikea for my office, then I found this for a third of the cost (with much better reviews). This was shipped quickly and I agree with other reviews that it was packaged extremely well and had very clear instructions. It has a lot of parts and does require a second person at the end to attach the top shelf, although I did all the rest of the assembly myself (45 y/o female with a screwdriver only). I bought 2 shelves but it turned out to be a little larger then I expected (good thing), so I gave the other to my son who also liked it. From the bottom up, the 1st shelf doesn't adjust which is a little disappointing (for my larger books) but the 2nd and 4th rows are adjustable. Its particle board but I am confident it will last just as long or longer then some of the more expensive shelves I was looking at, plus no confusion setting up due to the excellent packaging and instructions. I highly recommend.

I recently bought this bookcase from Walmart and overall, I’m really pleased with it! First off, it’s absolutely adorable—definitely a cute addition to my space. For the price, I felt like it was a really good deal, especially considering how nice it looks once assembled. In terms of assembly, it was pretty straightforward and not too complicated, which is always a plus. The only hiccup I had was that one of the longer pieces arrived broken right out of the box. But the good news is that the manufacturer’s customer service was fantastic. They were really responsive and made sure I got a replacement piece quickly. It felt like they genuinely cared about me being able to finish the bookcase, which I really appreciated. Once I had the replacement part, everything came together perfectly. Now that it’s all set up, it looks beautiful in my room and definitely meets my expectations.

Love this bookshelf! If I had more space I would get more! One of the pieces was damaged and we reached out to the company and they made it right. They had the best customer service ever. Definitely recommend and will buy from them again in the future.

I left teaching and brought my class library home with me. My kids are living our “library”. I am so glad I paid for professional assembly at Checkout! It was so worth it! The pro was very polite and professional. He worked all day assembling two of these for my living room. This would have taken me all weekend! I love the final result! My Belle home library dreams have come true!

The bookshelf has nice details that elevate it over other "boxy" looking shelves. The "wood" has a nice grain look to it. I also really like the number of shelves and the fact that I can fill it with books without worry. It takes quite a bit of time to assemble and includes many screws and other small parts.

The assembly wasn't all easy, but the bookshelf itself is beautiful and well-made. I appreciate that the back of the shelves isn't just the thing cardboard backing like I've gotten with a shelf several times in the past. We added a contact paper to the back pieces for some color accent and it came out beautifully! We have not yet put anything on the bookshelf, but I fully expect there will be no issues based on the well-made materials.

This bookcase was easy to assemble, though time consuming. I'm a 67 year old woman, and I did it by myself. It was tricky getting the top half lifted up. I managed to lift it onto a couple of barstools to make it possible to lift it into place. You might consider recruiting some help with that part. It's beautiful and I love it!

This bookcase was exactly what we were looking for. In fact, we bought two of them! They are good quality and easy to put together. The instructions were nice and clear. The way they were packaged ensured that the product arrived in good condition! We are very pleased with this product!

I recommend “yes” and “no”. It is not easy to assemble as there are MANY parts. It was like a puzzle but I like puzzles. There was a lot of turning assembled sections over to fit together and you will need a second person to assist with full assembly. Some pieces didn’t have holes punch through and other did that should so small dowels went further inside than they should have. If you have patience, it is a good looking piece of furniture.
