super easy to put together. sturdy. the internal depth of the bookshelves themselves are 9. 3/4" (which that was listed), but otherwise it's perfect. We added lights to it and little wood trim pieces to elevate the look and love how it turned out.

The bookshelf is perfect for my daughter’s reading space. It’s well made and easy to assemble.

Overall this is a fantastic bookshelf. It was easy to assemble %26 is well worth the money. My only disappointment with it, is that I thought it would be matte but it’s actually somewhat shiny.

The bookshelf is nice. However, there are many pieces that arrived chipped and corners that were snapped off. I had to use tape to put pieces back together in order to salvage it as a whole. I didn’t want to go through the hassle of returning it.

It looks pretty, my inconvenience is that there is not so much space inside the cabinet( doors) and it came with some scratches on the sides of the wood.

After hobbling it back together, I added a number of L brackets to make the connection safe at the compensate for the damage that occurred during its assembly. They skipped on one horizontal board on the top of the bottom section, and if they added that it would’ve been an easier assembly plus less prone to damage. it looks great and it goes with our decor. And I added enough extra strengthening devices to ensure it’s not going to fall apart. But if you try to use what they give you, keep your fingers crossed that it stays together. All the holes lined up and everything does fit the way it’s designed, but it is a very minimal constructed product.

Item fell apart during assembly. I only used the materials, hardware and tools provided and it completely fell apart. I was able to salvage the top part of the item and will use that but the section with the doors fell apart during assembly. I would not choose this product again.

Ordered two but only received one. The one I did receive, the package was so severely damaged that the pieces inside were shifting and within the box that they were damaged as well. Very poor packaging.

Bookcase arrived with a damaged shelf

Bookcase is fine. Walmart is terrible. Ordered two. They said the second one was delayed. I assembled the first one while waiting for the second. And waiting. And waiting. It never came. Whole idea was to get two that matched. They gave me a refund on the second one. Eventually. They offered to give me a return on the first one - but I would have to disassemble it and return it. Finally they agreed to send someone for a "manual pickup." I told them to send two strong lads. They sent one fellow who looked at it and left without taking it. Realizing they will not do the right thing, we've decided to sell it on Marketplace or something. The IKEA Billy bookcases I got from Amazon are much nicer anyway.
