The Assembly of this product was incredible. every single hole lined up perfectly. the instructions were spot on. good quality, beautiful appearance. I absolutely recommend this. the only thing I might avoid is the little plastic support to put on the back of the bookcase to hold the backing steady. you could avoid those. it's very sturdy

Beautiful when done! I'm 72 and it took 4.5 hours to build by myself. Beware one of the steps with the sides gets tricky because the picture doesn't show the slide groove. I have had so many compliments on this bookshelf. Very pleased with it would recommend!

I have ben happy with this bookshelf. It wasn’t hard to put together and directions were easy to follow. However the box it arrived it looked as though it had been through some stuff. There were big chunks missing on the box. Thankfully the product itself was not damaged.

This is a good buy and a sturdy bookcase. BUT... unless you have a great deal of time and patience, it's not worth it. The instructions are horrible.!!!! I have put together this type of furniture before but You HAVE TO GO BY THE PICTURES ONLY.... and even then you have to redo. I'm sure wherever this is made... they are laughing like crazy !!!

This is a marvel of design ingenuity; but with respect to user assembly, not so much. One might be tempted to use something like a DeWalt driver to install many of the screws but this would likely be a mistake in working with particle board and flake/wafer board. My driver has a clutch, but I still wouldn't use it. A T-handle ratcheting driver would be useful, however. Before undertaking this, you need to have a feel for how screws work in the materials you are driving them into - remedying a stripped screw hole is annoying. Also, in looking at the instructions, which are nearly devoid of text, often you have to either mentally invert the graphics or to just turn over the case to match what goes where. It took my wife and me a good part of a day to complete the project and I have done many home repair projects, as well as built computers and stereos, and put together bedroom sets from IKEA and Wayfair. That said, our grandson likes the book case, and it has sufficient space to reduce the clutter in his room.

I love the look of the look of the shelf, the blue color and the size is perfect for my home office. I was very disappointed in how it assembles. 24 screw locks and almost all are visible. They use stickers to cover and there is not enough provided to cover them all so you have to pick the most visible ones to cover. You can also see the variation in how the screw locks sits in the holes so the sticker is not completely flush. Had I seen this in person I wouldn't have purchased it. By the time it was partially assembled and these flaws were viable we were to invested to take it apart and try to ship it back. Overall too much money for the quality of the product.

1.) Missing Parts 2.) OVER THREE HUNDRED PARTS!!! 3.) 37 Steps! I ordered this item because I loved the color and the drawers. I received it quickly—delivered to my door. After I opened it I was immediately overwhelmed by the number of pieces of “word,” but then I opened the box of hardware. There are well over 300 parts to this bookshelf—to include 78 of just one type of screw. It honestly makes no sense whatsoever. It's absurd. I opened up the instructions and got to it. Now, I can admit that I should've done an inventory before, but 300 parts?! I didn't inventory. I rolled up my sleeves, got down on the floor, and got to it! …only to realize an hour (and 17 steps in) that I'm missing 3 pieces of wood. I don't know if the product was returned or what the situation is, but I'm BEYOND annoyed. 0/10 would NOT recommend.

the holes for screws were drilled too big, screws just spin in the hole for nothing... can't assemble it at all... JUNK

I want others to know that I never received the bookcases. I received two white dinette sets instead. I had FedEx pick them up for return. The very next day, Sunday, FedEx dropped off one dinette set and left it by my door with the box all busted open, really beat up, and dirty. I had to struggle to get it inside. They keep sending me a white dinette set for which I did not order. Walmart, you may want to look into this situation. It has been very disturbing.

I have assembled many flat pack furniture pieces, and this is by far the worst. My husband is a professional engineer and he agreed it is the worst he has ever seen and he struggled to assemble it. Multiple pieces have the same number for assembly but are NOT the same, they have subtle differences that you don't notice until you realize you did it wrong and then have to unassemble the entire thing and start over (this happened several times) . It took SIX HOURS, and multiple cracks because the wood is so cheap that having to redo things caused the wood to split. The directions might as well be hieroglyphs, they are completely nonsensical and require understanding which of the three things shown in one step is meant to be done first, and which way thing X should go and which of the three piece 12s it's referring to. The packages also weigh a hundred pounds so returning them is a huge pain.
