best clothespins ever! although am fairly happy with the price, i am sorry to see that they are on clearance, i hope that doesn't mean they are being discontinued altogether! they are great for everything! we use them for closing potato chip bags & all snacks. great for keeping bags closed in the freezer if you want to keep the original packaging. so many uses, great quality. so much better than the wooden ones. wish i had found these or wish they had these when i was growing up. only found them about 6 years ago when i worked at the lumber yard. i really should've bought more than one bag!

These grasp firmly and have a wider grip capacity. I even used them to hold up a heavy curtain temporarily! Great purchase.

I use them to keep snack bags closed or to keep clothing on a hanger to dry.

I would never call these heavy duty!!! They are very light weight, rather flimsy, long and skinny. The coil spring however, is the only feature that sets this clothespin apart from others. I am using them also as bag clips, however they leave a lot to be desired in that category as well!!

Thought they would be a little sturdier. One was broken in the pack. Anxious to see how long they last.

The first time I squeezed the first clothespin, the spring flew out and the plastic broke. A spring flew out of another one although I was able to put it back together. I need heavy duty clothespins for a special project. I hope the remaining ones continue to hold together.

Very flemzy the springs pop out easily not worth the money !! Buy the old school wood kind if you can find them save yourself the headache

Bad design - cheap. The springs keep popping out and there is not as much grip strength as they lead you to believe.

Darn shame there isn't a zero star because that's what I would give this item. I was searching for heavy duty clothespins. These are indeed heavy duty; they take a strong hand to open them and they do clamp an item to a clothesline - but the design is completely, miserably flawed!! If the slightest twist is applied, POP goes the spring, mounted on just two little plastic nubs with no secured attachment. Good luck finding that spring and if you do, good luck reattaching it. What you now have is a piece of completely useless plastic not worth the match to burn it. I have thrown every blasted one of these pieces of caca in the trash. I knew I could not get a refund so I will simply warn off anyone else before they buy these things. THEY ARE TRASH.
