I love this can. Cats can't open it. Lid is flat and rests inside. You have to use the foot to open. Downside is that I had to order three before I got one that wasn't broken or dented. Sent two back.

My husband is in a nursing home facility. He has very limited space underneath the counter in his little kitchenette, and I needed a trashcan that would fit underneath it. It also needed to be easy for him to operate without his having to bend down to open it. This had a peddle on it where he could open it by his foot.

A nice looking trash can that fits into a narrow space in a small bathroom. The huge label stuck on the front came off without too much trouble. Maybe they are using a better adhesive now than the one other reviewers mentioned having a hard time with. I'm still trying to find a trash bag that fits into the removable interior container without hanging outside of the can. Overall, it has a less sturdy feel to it than higher priced versions, but that's to be expected.

I got 2 because our puppy nabs trash and a covered trash can seemed just what we needed. However, my husband won't use them in his kitchen, because he likes to toss the trash into an open can. Also, I was hoping they would be a bit larger so I could like with paper bags from the grocery store. That sort of works only if you take the handy plastic liner out. That said, they are working really well in the powder room

This is a nice small step-on trashcan and great for my laundry room where my cat box also resides. I like that the lid stays up long enough for me to drop lint etc, in it. I like that it is narrow so it doesn't take up much space. It takes a bit of fussing to get the bag liner so it doesn't show, but that's OK as I've figured out how to do it quickly. It's perfectly fine for the price. What I'm not happy about is that it came dented on two sides. I didn't notice it at first but it's very obvious when the light shines on it from the hallway so I can't place it exactly how I wanted to because of the dents. It wasn't worth the effort to exchange it. I don't think it was the packaging. I think it was damaged when it was put in the box.

The item I received had a very large label stuck to the front - which I was unable to remove. Therefore, I decided to return it. This can is smaller than I thought it would be. Watch the size carefully.

The liner with handle is jammed and cannot be removed from the trash can. It looks great. The lid is what I wanted with foot pedal opening but you have to carry the whole can when you empty it. Wasn't super cheap. Haven't decided if I'm gonna live with it or return it. Hassle either way.

We are having trouble removing the insert.

The trash can itself is fine but it was shipped in an oversized box without packaging material. Naturally it was broken on the bottom from being tossed around. I find this to be careless. It shows a total lack of concern for the paying customer and zero pride in their company. I could not recommend ordering this online to be shipped.
