This makes your hair curl, shine, and smell wonderfully all day! I absolutely loved it. Works perfectly on thick hair. The only negative for me is it takes a lot to get my thick, natural, tight curled, coarse hair moisturized after I wash it so the jar size doesn't last me too long.

This product saved me!! When I initially cut my hair short I was unprepared as to how to make it look natural and curly once I left the salon. I took a chance and I couldn't be happier! It leaves my hair super curly and dries with a sheen. And it smells great!!

This works amazingly well!! I have 3b type hair texture an this defines my curls to the gods!! There is no frizzing after I use this and lots of shine! Although it will leave a little sticky feeling on your neck I don't hesitate to use it! It's my go to! It smells so good! I've gotten compliments on the smell and my hair definition! Love it!!

Good, but almost $20 for a small container of gel is ridiculous.

So far so good. The more I use this product, the more I enjoy it. It doesn't really do what I like, but I like the softness. It's my go to and I will continue to use it coupled with other DE products. It's clear and doesn't flake and it curls the back and sides more than the top of my hair but I'm happy with it. I have only been natural for nine months so I'm giving it time.

i bought this & applied it once to my hair and it had a fishy odor. I wrote in to notify customer service immediately with no resolution very disappointing.

I usually love all Design Essentials products. This was the exception. This product left my feeling sticky and coated. It did a fair job defining the curls but I couldn't stand the tacky feeling. It was a waste of money for me. I do not recommend. I had no other products on my hair…just this product.
