Honeywell 2800 Lumen LED Motion Sensor Security Light, Aluminum and Plastic Made

This Honeywell 2800 Lumen Led Security Light works great outside my garage. It can be easily installed almost anywhere you like it. It has dust to dawn feature that saves on energy, and you don't have to turn it on and off when in use. I also like that it has two settings for brightness. This light is great for security in a un lite area of any home. I trust that Honeywell has great quality products.

I hung it up in front of my house and garage as it is a dark area late at night --It was super easy to hang and when activated it lights up the garage and half of my house with ease. I feel much safer with this motion sensor in place. Putting one up on the other side of my house too!

This is a great motion sensor light. We put it up on our shed in our back yard. It was easy to install and only took about 15 minutes. It is a good quality, heavy duty light. At night when we go out with our dogs , the whole backyard is illuminated. Since it is a motion sensor it will hopefully deter other critters from coming into the yard also. We really like it.

My new Honeywell 2800 Lumen LED Security Light solved my problem of no light at the Barn Door. Now when you pull up or walk in front of the Barn it comes on and stays on for as long as you are moving in front of the sensor, it is all automatic, that is so nice. The lights are fully adjustable up or down and to the sides and the motion sensor is adjustable to your liking. The light has three color temperatures of warm white, bright light, and daylight plus the dusk to dawn feature is a great security feature. Installation was simple, this light comes ready to install with all the hardware necessary. I had to add an electrical mounting box for the light and that was pretty easy because it is all open where I installed it. I am really happy with the finished install and it works great.

Honeywell made an excellent light when this one was made. The motion sensor can be set to different strengths or distance . Each side can be aimed where you desire the light to shine. It is advertised as different colors of light but I would call it different brightness; like shades of bulbs. It was easy to install and was hard wired in but we put a plug on the end to plug to a wall receptacle . Their Honeywell motion sensor can stay on for 1,5, or 10 minutes… after it has sensed movement… it is very bright and better than the regular bulb style. I will purchase another .

I recently received this in the mail. We live in the country, and we get a lot of wildlife in our area. I wanted something that would alert us with light. This light exceeded our expectations. Love the brightness. It was super easy to install and picks up a very wide area that we needed in our backyard. Would highly recommend and the name Honeywell has a great reputation for quality.

We have an area at back of our driveway that is dark, and we don't like leaving outside lights on all the time. Our neighborhood has had trouble with car breakins during the night. So we positioned this motion detector spotlight at the back of our driveway, where we park one of our cars, to go off whenever anyone gets near at night. Our son was able to easily replace the lantern type light fixture with this detector. That light is controlled by one switch that we now leave in the on position. Perfect!

I need an electrician to install the security light in its destined spot. nfortunately with the housing boom, there is a long wait for skilled craftsmen to do the small jobs in our area, so I have not been able to permanently install the light as yet. It will provide a great security feature for our home and I will update my rating once it has been installed and working for a couple of months.

I like that this security light has an attached motion sensor. I also like that you can swivel the two attached lights to shine in the direction that fits your area. You will need the following that are not included to install: Junction Box, electrical tape, silicone caulk. The directions are easy to use, and the product seems well made to last.

Honeywell has a good reputation. I hooked up this light and before using it the Range control selector had fallen to the ground. I reinserted into the slot but it kept falling out. This light has to be mounted with the control selectors facing down, as per the instructions. I finally got it to stay in place with a piece of clear tape, setting it to maximum range. It works and puts out alot of light but I am disappointed that it has this flaw right out of the box. Honeywell has a good reputation and I am surprised at this design. It definitely needs attention/revision.
