Honeywell 5000 Lumen LED Utility and Barn Light

This Honeywell LED Dusk to Dawn Security light is LARGE and BRIGHT. The plastic light cover/diffuser is over 11 inches in diameter. It reminded me of my large serving bowls. The fixture has a photocell on top so it can automatically sense when to turn on and turn off. Note that this light produces 5000 lumens of brightness, which is VERY bright. I would compare it to daylight. This means you would not want to place it in an area where it would shine into your house or a neighbor's house. It is more for a barn or garage outdoor lighting. It was easy to mount by following the enclosed directions.

Nice big light for outside from Honeywell. It's large and shines a lot of light into my backyard. I consider it a great value. Easy to install with easy to follow instructions. The packaging was good and the material of the light looks sturdy enough to last many years on the outside. Very pleased

It took me a little while to install this Barn Light. This was a new installation at that location and our county is moving very slowly issuing permits (to run a new power circuit). If I was replacing an existing light, it would have been a 15 minute job. So the light itself? It is great! Considering the fact that the light source is LED's, I had my doubts that it would cast a lot of light. I was surprised since it is a LOT brighter than the old sodium bulb at the other end of the barn. The installation was easy, You have the choice of running a power wire right through the wall as I did, or, you can run a power cord straight down out of the end of the mounting bracket. The light itself looks great and I have already had two of our Horse Boarders ask about it. My next step is to order a few more of these fixtures to first replace the old sodium bulb light at the other end of the barn, and then to mount at least one on my equipment shed.

I've been wanting to replace my patio light with something brighter and automatic. This is an LED light which gives 5000 lumens using only 40W. The installation was pretty easy except that I had to get a faceplate from hardware store to cover the previous hole in the wall which was larger than needed for this fixture. It has a built-in sensor that turns the light on and off automatically depending on daylight. You can cover the sensor lens with something to test it out during the day time as well. The 5000 Lumens give a lot of light! It has a large reflector/ lens 11.5 inches of diameter, which spreads the light well even though it's made of plastic. What I like most is the brightness and the automatic On/Off-one less thing to worry about. I no longer have to turn my light on and off at night and in the mornings.

I received the Honeywell LED Dusk to Dawn Utility Light through the Spark Reviewer program. This is one fantastic light. This utility light is well made and very easy to install. The mounting hardware, wire nuts and rubber washers are included. Short and consise instructions. If you are not familiar with simple electrical procedures, I advise you to seek help. Installation took approximately 30 minutes from start to finish. I decided to put it on the workshop. The large plastic diffuser and housing of the light are sturdy, weatherproof, and durable. Honeywell really cares about the quality of their products. Heavy and solidly built. Looks as great as it works. This utility light provides the perfect amount of brightness. Bright but not blinding. The 5000LM LED bulbs produce a clear and bright, yet soft white light. It is so much more aesthetically pleasing than the old light we replaced. The photocell timing is incredibly accurate. It is effective and absolutely came on at dusk as you can see in my photo. Considering it is an LED light, the energy cost is going to be low. Obviously it will run for more than 3 hours of daily use. The estimated energy cost on the box is relative to a 3-hour average daily usage as is the life of the bulbs. Even if the light remained on for 7 or so hours daily, the estimated energy cost is still super affordable. The life of the bulbs for 7+ daily hour run time is perfectly acceptable. The 5-year warranty is a huge plus. I couldn't be happier with this light. It is beyond simple to install. The price is great for the obvious quality. Honeywell is a well-known and respected brand. I 100% recommend this wonderful Honeywell brand LED Dusk to Dawn Utility Light.

This Honeywell LED Barn light is definitely bright! It's light weight and has good LED's. Installation was easy and it's currently in our garage. I would be concerned about it outside as it's made of plastic, but no issues so far where we have it installed.

This light is good quality. It is wired and was easy to install. The light turns off automatically during the daylight and turns on automatically during darkness. The light is bright and puts out plenty of light. It seems well made and should last for a long time. The light is led and has a lifespan of 50,000 hours or 45 years. No need to change bulbs. The light has a 5 year warranty. It has a large plastic diffuser to help provide large area lit. I'm very happy with this utility light and recommend to others.

Rugged, durable outdoor lamp that emits a bright white light. It is easy to install using a hard-wired connection. The only negative is it stays on all night, and off during the day. While the use on electricity is noted as using a low amount, I would prefer it have the option of a switch, or motion detection. I'm sure a switch could be installed, but that distracts from the purpose of this lamp. I will say the brightness and color of the bulb are what makes this product great.

Although this was meant to be installed as an overhead light, I attached a plug end and used it as a mobile light fixture. I mount the screw on base into a sturdy surface when I'm working in poorly lit areas outdoors and when I'm done, unscrew it and dismount. I also used the light fixture outdoors and away from a power supply by connecting it to an inverter attached to a motor vehicle as the power supply. The light is very bright.
