Here I am at 5:00 writing this review (when I shouldn't be awake) because of how terrible the programming on this thing sucks. My sleep time is set for 10:00pm @55 degrees, my wake up time is set for 8:00 am @74 degrees. Why is it that at 4:30-5:00 (3-4 hrs before set wakeup time) the heat is at 74 degrees. Mind you this ain't the first time this has happened, I tried resetting, I've tried setting new times/temperature but it still doesn't seem to help. Moral of the story is if you want to be able to stick to your regular sleep schedule or even try to relax and be comfortable in your own home then don't buy this piece of junk!!!!!
The package arrived quickly and was in awesome excellent condition. This Honeywell programmable thermostat works superbly. Its nice to be able to adjust the temperature again! Excellent experience, thanks!
It is an easy to use programable thermostat. My only objection verses what I replaced is in the seven day programing. This new thermostat, you must program each and every day separately, including the times of operation. In comparison to my old Honeywell thermostat, to which I replaced, stated it was seven day programing also, but I was able to program the weekdays as a group and only weekends separately, unlike this new seven day thermostat. Read the box carefully. Find a thermostat that say seven day but with five and two programing.
Honeywell products are the only ones I ever use .
Took a while to program but is working well now.
my thermostat died and this was a perfect replacement. I just plugged it in and it started communicating with the furnace immediately.
I tried to wire this myself but the red power wire cannot be inserted into the hole or holes that call for it. There was a "jumper" in the way that could be removed - I hoped I could put it back in if need be. I managed to get the jumper out but not w/o breaking it. Still, it is not possible to get ANY wire into that spot. I also backed the screw out all the way. I am taking this back tomorrow. House roasting hot now.
I bought this because everything looked the same as the one I have. but when I received it it was completely different.
JUNK. AVOID. Temp is set for 69°, it is currently 79°. Unit says it's on, however nothing is happening. AC system was checked, all is well.
