Honeywell 8,000 BTU Digital Window Air Conditioner, Remote, LED Display, 4 Modes, Eco, 350 sq ft Coverage

i bought 2 of these air conditioners as presents for relatives that live in Honduras. mainly because i bought 2 last year for my small home. the work great are reliable and well exceeded my expectations. also cant beat dealing with Wal-Mart. great price and free delivery to my front door in 3 days. which is great since i am almost 70 years old. you cant go wrong...greay product.

I bought this for my brother who hasn't yet used it since its still late winter. However it arrived in very good condition and on time. The price was great for an 8000 btu. I chose this partly for the size, as his windows are small, the reviews I had read on it as well as the brand. I'm hoping it will last him a long time.

Packaging/ shipping: 10/10 The unit was well packed and didn’t sustain any damage and was easy to dispose of the waste. Shopping was quick and arrive within 3 days. Installation/ instructions: 6/10 Installation was relatively easy, not a very heavy unit for being 8,000BTU. The seal created by the hardware it came with is adequate and doesn’t feel like bugs can get in. The instructions for assembly were not very intuitive or simple. I have installed window units before and was able to figure it out but a lack of instructions would make it difficult for a first time installer. Use/noise: 7/10 The controller and controls are not very intuitive either. The controller has a good amount of function and feels of good quality. The unit cools my 12x12 room pretty well but it is relatively loud. Even on low it can get pretty loud.

This is a temporary solution while I await installation of new central air. I've only had it a few days, but it is very strong and cools the open LR/DR/KI nicely.

I wouldnt want to be hot as a demon this summer i know 8,000 btu can cool off my home in high temps for the summer. Energy star feature saves $20-$30 a month also its lightweight 40 lbs, the remote is pretty helpful as well.

Just received last week and it has been doing a great job of cooling our living room down. Appears to be a sturdy decent machine, installed easily in our window.

Air conditioner works great and the air is nice and cool. Cooled down our upstairs tremendously. The remote control however isn't working so we're trying to troubleshoot that.

Good day to whomever,what I received was great. It works just like it's supposed to but I received the wrong unit ! What I ordered was a 8000BTU Air conditioner but what I received is a 6000BTU Air conditioner. I found out by checking my order history. It's probably to late for a fix or correction for me? But make sure you get what you've before you destroy the box ! One more question, what's the difference between the 8000BTU Unit and the 6000BTU Unit

Well, this forces me into a review while registering product, not a fan of this because it forces me to give it a one star. I was trying to register my product because it may be defective. It works, but is making a strange noise. I don't know if this is normal, but I doubt it. it could be 5 star worthy, but I need to write this before getting help with my product.
