Honeywell Home Wifi 7-Day Programmable Thermostat, White

An easy upgrade from the previous model that is not WiFi compatible. I didn't even switch the base. Just popped the new one on the old faceplate and it worked perfectly. No tools required.

I love this thermostat! It's incredibly easy to install, and saves money from day 1. I can see that my energy usage is going down and I really needed that because energy prices are going up in my area.

We usually just keep it on one temp day and night. This is so much easier to change. My husband didn't think it was set right and without getting out of bed I could check. wish we would've changed to this sooner.

I've never had issues with them and the only time I change them out is when I want a newer model. This Honeywell Home Thermostat is wonderful too and of course very modern. Included is two screws and two mollies in addition to the instruction manual, thermostat ID card, quick start guide, and more such as little stickies to label wires. This Honeywell Home Thermostat does NOT contain mercury. Also, know that this Honeywell Home Thermostat does NOT use batteries. It's easy to get started with the Quick Start Guide. Install thermostat, Connect to your Wi-Fi network, and register online for remote access. Do be sure to read the Instruction Manual and the Quick Start Guide. Installation is easy and safety is important. This Honeywell Home thermostat can connect to the internet to monitor and control your heating/cooling system. It's so easy to use and very handy when you need to control your thermostat but not standing in front of it to do so. Highly recommend!

Works great if you have a C wire terminal on your furnace and the wire itself. You can request a free adapter if you don't see a C wire.

Had to complete initial setup via my computer, would not load the site on my phone. The video link included in the instructions is no longer available either.

This thermostat requires a special wire to deliver power to the unit. The only house I've lived in that had power running through the thermostat had baseboard electric heat, and this thermostat won't work with those, either. If you happen to have special wiring, the features seem nice, but this thermostat is useless to me.

On the day the device was supposed to arrive I was notified it had been delayed indefinitely. No explanation as to why and no hint is to when something might happen next. No communication since, either from Walmart or the supplier. This is the second time in the last year or so I've had issues with one of Walmart's marketplace outside suppliers. Walmart needs to vet these third party suppliers more thoroughly before adding them to your website.

This did not work out of the Box... Heating specialist said it had a short in it... And because I did not install it until after 90 days... I could not get a refund... Even those defective out of the Box... $68 out the window
