Our home in Missouri has central a/c and heat, but we use the boiler radiant heat. This thermostat works perfectly for just the heat. You can hear it click on and off but I don't pay attention to it. Reads your room temp and if you push up or down it will show you what you have it set at. For our central a/c and electric heat we use the Nest learning thermostat so we don't come to a hot home in summer.

First, the 1 star reviews from 2019 reporting wrong pictures for the thermostat have been fixed and is NOT an issue. It is indeed as advertised, a HEAT ONLY, non programmable, simple to connect and use thermostat. Great replacement. Fits the exact size and screw holes for a single wide light switch box, or just into the wall with included anchors and screws. 2 or 3 wire install, Red, White and a Common (if that wire is there, it will provide the power to light up the thermostat when pushing the buttons and no batteries are needed. It will save the setting through a power outage it says even without batteries). Besides setting the desired temperature (keeps the room temperature within 1 degree it says), it has a setting for F or C, and also %23 of times the furnace/heat source will run in an hour (settable). Has an overload protection so won't start/stop too quickly and hurt the furnace. I'm satisfied and would buy again.

Set up only took a few minutes. I am extremely pleased with my purchase, as it is exactly what I needed. I would recommend this thermostat to anyone looking for a simple, no hassle product that works well.

Doesn't even require a star. What is pictured or advertised is not what is shipped to you. They send you a non programmable device. Nothing wifi about it. Returned it the next day. I'm still waiting for my refund for about a week.

Item pictured and advertised is not what you will get. Completely false. Sell does not respond when trying to resolve with them and getting a refund is a joke. This is not the first comment with the same issue. Beware.
