Honeywell Wifi 9000 Color Touchscreen Thermostat

This is a very functional highly useful, full color slim and sleek thermostat. The full collar display is very nice. I also like being able to see the outdoor temperature and humidity right on the home screen. We have our set up so it is in sleep mode most of the time however it wakes up when you touch the screen. Vast improvement over our old Honeywell thermostat and even more functionality over our newer Sensi thermostat. The thermostat was installed as part of a package with our new heat pump unit. The Wi-Fi capability a programmability are just as good as any other thermostat we've used.

Bought this because I have another TCC product. Did not disappoint, just like the first one. Great looks with color changing display. Easy to connect to WiFi and app on phone.

Straight forward WiFi enabled thermostat allowing remote access via the easy to use app. The ability to adjust the background color to blend with your wall color is a nice feature too. Compact size is also desirable. I highly recommend.

Very pleased with the Honeywell Thermostats Replaced recently purchased Nest thermostats after having set up issues with the Nest and at the recommendation of my heat and air conditioning specialist. Specialist's words…."easy to install, easy to use and never have service issues”. Exactly my experience to date!

The unit works great to manage my heat pump. I love the automatic switch between heating and cooling. But they should be able to do better with Internet updates. The outdoor temperature is never correct.

The previous thermostat I had would switch between heat and cool mode depending on the perimeters set up and the interior temperature . I have been unable to find an auto mode that would allow thermostat to switch between cool and heat. However with Wi-Fi, I can select changes from my phone with a downloadable app.

Everything else is fantastic with this thermostat, except the WiFi. I constantly get notifications that the thermostat can't connect to WiFi and the router is only about 10 feet away. I get great WiFi throughout the house, so it isn't a WiFi router issue.

...then, you use the UI longer than 5 minutes and realize Honeywell must have outsourced their UI/UX to craft days at Assisted Living facilities. I'm currently looking for a new thermostat. tldr clunky and unintuitive.

Thermostat refuses to connect to Alexa. The Alexa app sends the user to Residio's security system page, not the thermostat page, and therefore doesn't recognize the product needed to connect. The fact that you released this product without verifying that this essential feature worked is beyond me. Add to that the fact that no follow-up call to my initial call for support ever happened, and this will almost certainly be the last Honeywell product I ever buy.

I have used Honeywell smart thermostats for a awhile now so when I saw this refurb at a great price I jumped on it. It was used as part of a HVAC install and unfortunately while it appeared to be functioning correctly (no error codes) it wasn't. Regardless of the setting it only activated the heat, even though the set temp was well below ambient. As part of the troubleshooting I swapped it with a known good device from another unit and the swapped in device functioned properly. I then used this device in the other unit and it malfunctioned there as well. Wiring was double checked and was correct. I was dissapointed to say the least.
