So I've had this for almost 6 weeks now. It was very easy to setup and I was streaming movies and shows within an hour of opening the box it came in. My first issue was that the Bluetooth function is ONLY for audio. It can't be used to connect a phone and play stuff from it. I have an iPhone instead of an android phone, but I mistakenly thought the Bluetooth option would remove any issue with that. The second, and biggest, problem is that last week it completely shutoff in the middle of watching a movie. I turned it back on, but it did it again 15 minutes later. And again for a third time while still watching the same movie. A few nights later, I had forgotten about the shutdowns, while watching another movie and it did the same exact thing. It has 3 vents and a fan motor blowing out hot air. But, I can only assume that it's shutting off bc it's overheating. I didn't expect it to last for 10 years. But for $200, I certainly thought I'd get at least one or two good years of viewing pleasure without any problems at all. I also bought the 2 year warranty. I tried filing a claim going thru the Walmart app, which is also how I bought it. But, there was a problem creating an account with SquareTrade bc it repeatedly kept asking me to confirm my email address. I used the online chat function to let them know their website was glitching and wouldn't let me complete setting up an account so that I could initiate the warranty claim process. It was late on a Friday night, so I was surprised anyone was working. Which would have been better than getting the rude jerk that I got. I took screenshots of the chat bc I was outraged to be treated so badly after having just experienced 3 shutdowns for the 2nd time after only 5 weeks of owning it. The guy told me I should use the SquareTrade app instead of the browser on my phone. I told him I went where the Walmart app took me. Apparently, he was aware of the problem to create an account when not using their app and was annoyed by having to deal with that same issue when I mentioned it. I told him he was very rude and that I was already angry about the device shutting down on me without him making it worse with his attitude. I haven't downloaded the app yet bc I decided to wait a few days before trying to deal with it again. I DO NOT recommend this product for the above reasons. It was a great item and worth the price for that first month that I enjoyed watching it. Hopefully, I will get a replacement and I'll be able to enjoy watching the new one.
