Hoosier Hill Farm Large Tapioca Pearls, 2 lb Bag

They are about half the size of typical boba for drinks. My package didn't have directions on it, so that has been an adventure. Though the texture has changed slightly with each preparation, the product has been consistently palatable. It is dense and chewy without breaking down into a mealy texture. If you pre make them and set them in the fridge, they continuously make the liquid very very thick. I recommend not making a full boba tea more than a day ahead as you will have a unique gelatinous experience.

Very helpful recipe on bag. Size of pearls seemed more "medium" than "large", but made good pudding.

My daughter and I decided to make tapioca pudding. We are beginners as we never made this before but we love to experiment in the kitchen. We had all the ingredients already at home and we just followed the recipe posted on the Walmart page. We topped with fruit. It was good and different. It was easy and fun to make. We would make again.

I used these instead of small pearls in my tapioca pudding. It turned out great! They aren't too big and plumped up just right. The pearls are clean, white, and only have slight variation in size. The bag has so much that I'm looking forward to being well-stocked for making the pudding many times over.

I recently purchased the Large Tapioca Pearls bag, and I'm absolutely loving it! The pearls have the perfect size - not too small, not too large - and have a wonderful chewy texture. They're so much fun to drink and add a delightful twist to my favorite beverages. They are completely natural and very good for the most famous beverage in the social media " Bubble Tea." The price is quite affordable. I recommend the product for sure.

There really aren't any instructions on how to use these in recipes aside from"soak in water" so make sure you know what you're doing before you start. These arent the same pearls that are used in boba, so also keep that in mind. Aside from that, bot bad. Goes well with coconut milk and /or mango.

This was advertised as large pearl tapioca, which it is not. If you don't care about the size, it's fine. If you're looking for LARGE pearl tapioca, do not purchase
