Hoover WindTunnel Rewind Upright Vacuum Cleaner, UH71330

I like everything about this vacuum. Its lightweight, the canister is easy to detatch and empty, assembly out of the box consisted of installing the handle with one screw. I used it immediately, and man this thing picks up the dog hair! Also, on hardwood floods it picked up all debris without flinging bits of dogfood all over. The best feature it the auto retractable cord, and the cord length. Best $130 vacuum on the market.

It picks up a lot of cat and dog hair and I don't have to wash the filter often. I've had this vacuum for 4 months and the filter light hasn't popped on yet. I use it about 2 times per week in a 1,600 sq foot house and I've used it in a two story 1,800 sq foot house as well. This vacuum isn't useful on stairs because it's heavy and the tools are for cleaning the corners only so it's not good for the sofa either (tools have a small opening). I haven't experienced any suction loss as of yet so I'm glad I've made this purchase. This vacuum is a loud one but it cleans deeply. Tools fall off often and I don't like the way the hose is stored in the back. Otherwise, it's a good machine.

Overall, I am happy with this vacuum, but it does clog up often. I bought the Elite While House Pet Upright vacuum because my house is carpeted, and I have a dog. I expected it to be able to handle the dog hair. It does pick up the hair fairly well, but I have to empty it after I do each room, or it plugs the hose! That is frustrating but better than taking it apart to clear the hose.

The floor brush bar worked great for picking up pet hair but I found the attachments useless other than the extension and crevice tool. The "easy empty" container is actually a "messy empty" container causing you to have dust flying everywhere and you have to reach you hand up into the container if you vacuum up any hair anyway because it gets wrapped around the central portion. The vacuum now seems to overheat and shut itself off after 15mins of use and not work until it's sat for a couple hours to cool down. I would not recommend or purchase this vacuum model or brand again.

Loved the vacuum cleaner, great suction. But the second time I used it, the dirt cup release would not snap back in after emptying. Once it is turned on the suction keeps the canister in place but as soon as you turn it off again, the canister falls right out since the release button is in permanent release mode. Agh! Went to website. Chat button doesn't work and contact us link doesn't work.

It sure picks up the dirt well, maybe too well because the first time I used it, the hose got so plugged up that I had to use a hanger to loosen it. Now I empty the canister after I do every room. It's annoying and probably overkill, but I don't want to get it plugged up again. Now I can't get the cord to rewind! I must have pulled it out too far but there has to be a way to get it back in.

If you purely use it for the vacuum, it's decent. the suction is good. The cons though make me wish i chose another vacuum. the auto retractable cord is a joke. You almost have to stomp on the release for it to work. Another huge downside is the handtools. The hose is a lot shorter than others. Plus, the bottom of the hose is held in a clip by screws, and the position makes it difficult to maneuver the hose. Trying to clean the couch with the hose and tools is almost impossible with the positioning of the hose and how heavy the vacuum is.

It's not picking up dog hair just moving it around. The top piece comes off every time I try and move it then that causes the middle to fall out. It might be me but so far I hat this machine

I was shocked by how loud and heavy it is. It was easy to assemble. I needed a vacuum that was reasonable priced that picked up dog hair and children's droppings. My last vacuum was a HooverWind Tunnel and I loved it. Can't say the same for this model.

Arrived with a gigantic hole in the box. sweeper disheveled and foam everywhere. Rewind cord button hanging off and about to break. Large sticker on box by this cosmetics company states no returns after opening. Reach out to the 2x, no offer to refund. sweeper and box discarded. I could have picked this sweeper up at my local Walmart and made sure it was new, not broken and returnable if needed but Walmart decides to route me through some cosmetic seller in California and send by Fed ex, and all they offered me was a stipid comment they will take my complaint and comments in consideration. i blame Walmart as i thought i was getting this item from a local Walmart.
