Hopkins 48895, LED Compatible Taillight Converter (72")

Wired up easily. Originally wanted a kit which included a relay and 12v input for a self contained power circuit to protect the vehicles lighting circuit, but needed something quick and figured I'd give this a shot. Trailer lights were LED so figured it wouldn't add too many amps to the circuit, and so far, it hasn't, so this kit gives lighting to my trailer

I spliced this in to replace the electronics of a previously installed model-specific trailer tail light converter from Curt. I'm not sure if the one from Curt ever worked, but it didn't when I finally needed it two years after installation. At least immediately, this one from Hopkins works great. Hopefully it will hold up.

Great product. It is compatible with my 2010 Toyota Yaris which has separate wires for marker light and brake light. This Converter converts those (total of 5 wires) into a 4-flat trailer connector. Exactly what I was looking for. I had to use some clips that I was able to buy at Walmart for a few $ and it was an easy installation. Thank you....!

This was super easy to wire in and a fraction of the cost of a plug in kit. Will buy one for my other car as well.

Literally almost $20 cheaper then tractor supply and around $7 dollars cheaper then Amazon. Easy to install and good descriptions for the installation. Good value and product all the way around.

use this to help add a break light to my truck cap. worked out great. good quality.

the part order was not the part received. Instead of saying hey we don't have the part here is a refund they send the wrong item and said nothing and removed the listing from walmart.com so now I have to bring it back to a Walmart and wait however long for a refund. thanks

as aoon as i wired up this converter the car's electrical system started clicking and going haywire! i diaconnected the converter but the car was still acting up and would not start! I disconnected the battery, then shorted the posative and negative cables(through a 10 ohm resister) to erased the memory on the ecu/bcu. So resetting the computers solved issue with the car, but i still have no brake lights to my trailer! A guge waste of time %26 money and almost ended up wrecking the electronics in my car!
