I have been using regular Hoppes gun oil for close to 50 years. i never had an issue with lubrication and protection using it. I read an advertisement for this new Hoppes oil and i can't believe how much better it is at lubrication. I have a bolt action with a rough, sticky bolt. I applied the new Hoppes and i am impressed with how much smoother the bolt works. Good job Hoppes on the improved oil

Age old proven product!
This lubricant for guns has been around since before I was born. Being it's still being sold should tell you what you need to know. This lubricant has never failed in the cold or heat. A
