I never post reviews.. THIS is the exception! Outstanding flavor simply the best bacon I've ever tasted. 350 ten minutes Air Fryer…. It is unbelievably delicious!
I don't typically leave reviews on food items but this needed one. Some people seem to like this bacon but we did not. It wasn't terrible but it definitely wasn't great. Flavor more like ham than bacon. We eat bacon all the time and I figured this would fun to try for our weekend family breakfast. It smells super good but the taste kind of has this weird sweet garbage thing going on. Like reheated old Christmas ham. I don't know how to explain it but we definitely won't be getting this again.
Absolutely digusting. Will NOT buy again. So much so that I'm gonna do something I rarely ever do and throw out the whole pack. It doesn't even taste like bacon you just taste the cinnamon sugar. I cooked it to my liking so no issues there but def would not serve to my family.
The first pieces were fried in a pan as we usually do, but they cooked up dark and tasted burnt and not even a little bit sweet. The second try was the microwave, which usually results in pieces that look undercooked, but at not even the same amount of time the pieces fried to a black, inedible crisp. The third try was the air fryer, which left us with bacon that finally looked like we could eat it, but the aftertaste and the lack of sweetness left me completely baffled. Even run-of-the-mill maple bacon is sweeter than this. I'm left wondering what the bitter aftertaste was trying to emulate. They should have just included a packet of Cinnadust to sprinkle on cooked bacon instead.
the cinnamon toast crunch flavoring additive made this bacon longer to cook so it was very close to burning when it was finally ready. it did not taste like bacon or the cereal. It had a very strange flavor and had a very sandy texture.
The cinnamon and sugar burn the bacon when frying. who every created or promoted this silly idea should be fired. everyone knows sugar burns. so dumb
Way too sweet, the cinnamon would have been great without the sugar part. Throwing away. After 2 bites I was done , and I love cinnamon. Not this product though
I'm not sure if I accidently bought this on purpose or if it was a cruel joke of a substitution, but this was the grossest bacon I have ever tasted. The whole kitchen smelled like a three day old bowl of cinnamon toast crunch cereal the whole time it was cooking. There were only 6 slices in the package, so maybe Hormel knew that their customer wouldn't be able to stomach much of it before vomiting. If you do decide to try it, my suggestion would be to burn it because that was the only way the kids and I could even begin to eat it. Most of it is in the trash.
When you eat bacon, it's supposed to have a bacon flavor. Maple, hickory, and applewood don't take away the flavor. It didn't taste bad enough to throw away. Cinnamon is amazing on a lot of things, but not bacon. Was pretty disappointed. Plus, it was only 10 slices for almost $6. Don't waste your money. Whoever thought of this just used a money grabbing name, and should be fired.
I love the cereal, the cake, the frosting, the little jars of cinnadust. I think bacon might be my favorite meat. So when I saw this combo I couldn't wait to try it. I think they found the one thing bacon doesn't go with . It the first time I couldn't finish my bacon. I would advise to skip on this item.
