Four slices per pack is the right amount for me (that's 3 for me and one for the dogs). The absorbent towel in the pack keeps the grease contained. I can control the crispness of the bacon by adding seconds to the microwave time depending on whether I want to crumble it for a salad or leave it chewier for serving with eggs, etc.

I love this stuff! I've bought it for a few years and have recommended it for everyone I know. Everyone loves bacon but nobody likes the time it takes OR getting popped with hotass grease!! I do have one complaint, though. Every now and then there's a package of 4 that don't cook right. They either won't cook all the way, even after 2or 3 attempts at 1 minute each or they get too crisp too quickly. BUT for the most part, they cook evenly and are delicious. No mess, no grease, no burns!!

Breakfast is not complete without my bacon. Willing to pay a little extra for the pre-packed, pop in microwave convenience. 4 slices in a pouch with 4 pouches in a package. Zap for 3 minutes, a tad more for extra crispy. Careful, not kidding it is hot. Let it cool for a minute while you get your eggs on the plate. I add either Great Value frozen pancakes or pre-cooked potato wedges and full all day long. Or just want to make a BLT without bacon splatter everywhere, this is your answer.

The item is easy to prepare in the microwave. I really like that. They are cooked in a plastic bag and you don't get the bacon splatter all over the inside of your microwave. They are pricey, which I think could be better but otherwise a very good product.

I found it to be of good quality with has a great taste. One thing to keep in mind is that you have to keep an eye on it. Mine was the way I prefer my bacon in under twenty minutes l think it would have been a little over cooked if I went the full time suggested.

I used Hormel Black label bacon and it was delicious. The flavor jumps out to my taste buds . It was easy to heat up . I bought the already cooked. I will definitely be buying this product in the future. The ingredients are whole. You will love it! I ended up buying two more for future breakfast.

HORMEL® BLACK LABEL® Microwave Ready Bacon was way better than I expected. It comes out of the microwave perfectly crisp in under 3 minutes and tastes great! I love that there is literally no clean up in the microwave. All of the grease stays in the bag so no need to clean the microwave every time you make bacon. And the package also has a small paper towel like absorbent pad in it, so the bacon is not super greasy either. The slices are a little thicker but not too thick. So when you are eating it the bacon does not crumble apart, but it is not so thick that you cannot bite into it easily. The price is reasonable and well worth it. I think the only downfall is that if you want less than 4 pieces, you can't do it because they are prepackaged. But even though I usually only make 2-3 pieces myself, it tasted so good I had no issue eating 4 of them. I will definitely be getting this bacon again and it is going to be a new weekly staple for us on our grocery list.

This is the best thing since sliced bread! So fast and convenient and tastes delicious! I love how it doesn't make my house stink and zero mess (kiss grease splatter good bye!) the price is right on point with the off brands/ generic and Hormel makes fantastic products!

I have purchased this for years. Sometimes It's a hit or miss. Most of the time it's spot on! Some occasions it will not cook properly. And it's never browns. But 85 percent of the time it cooks the first time it's just perfectly cooked on settings!

usually this bacon is great but we received a box today that was warm. very concerned about the freshness. It was a delivery so not sure if it was not kept in Cold storage or if it just spent a long time in someone's hot trunk. either way we threw it away and got a refund.
