If you love bacon but don't love the mess, Hormel Black Label Microwave Ready Bacon is a fantastic option. The individual microwave-ready pouches make breakfast incredibly quick and easy. Just pop a pouch in the microwave, and in a couple of minutes you have hot, crispy bacon with virtually no cleanup. The flavor is smoky, savory, and tastes much closer to traditionally cooked bacon than I expected. The portions are convenient for everything from breakfast to BLTs or burgers, and I appreciate not having to deal with grease splattering all over the stove. It's a little more expensive than regular bacon, but the convenience and consistent results make it well worth it. I'll definitely keep a box on hand for busy mornings.

This bacon works perfectly for our high allergy gluten free kid. The flavor is nice and quality usually very good. There is not always consistentcy in the thickness of the bacon. My kiddo loves the regular slices and the the crisp of a regular slice. Sometimes we get a package that should have been packaged in Hormel's thick cut packaging as it's more like a ham slice in texture.

This Hormel Black Label Bacon is one of my favorite bacon brands. While it does cost a little more than the Walmart store brand, the flavor and quality make it worth the extra money. The bacon has a great smoky taste, cooks up nicely, and works perfectly for everything from breakfast to BLTs and burgers. I've found the slices to be more consistent, and the overall quality has been excellent each time I've purchased it. Even better, if you watch for sales, you can often find it priced close to store-brand bacon, making it an even better value. Bacon is a staple in my house, and this is one of those products that never disappoints. If you're debating whether it's worth spending a little extra, I'd say give it a try—you may find yourself buying it again and again.

I will not buy this again. I always eat bacon but this package was horrible. When I fried this bacon the edges of the fat became to tough/hard to eat, not the meat. Never had bacon do it before from any brand. It was not burnt. I fry my bacon soft and chewy not crispy. Hormel makes some great products and I buy them often but this time the bacon turned me off.

Buying this product for years and loved it but last 2 purchases were different. The bacon seemed old, I was almost afraid to use but air fried as usual and I was right. It wasn't crispy but hard. I threw it out. You shouldn't have to guess about pork. Something has changed with my last 2 packages.

This did not cook up the way that bacon is supposed to. It did not look like pork. It emitted some white residue as it cooked like it was old. I suspect it is the processing. The young generation probably is unaware of real bacon but I do know because I am 85 years old. l do not intend to ever buy it again.

I've been buying this bacon for years (every few months, not too often) and I have a certain pan I use for it. The package usually covers the pan and I have to overlap the pieces. Bought a pack today and pulled out my pan. It didn't even fill the pan! I took it off and weighed and it and with the parchment paper it was on it was only 13 oz. Done with Hormel if they're going to charge more while not even giving me the amount on the package.

This bacon used to be some of the best you could buy at Walmart. The quality control has gone downhill so fast that it's now worse than great value bacon. Odd shapes, more tastes of ham and finding pig hair now attached to the meat still. Bring back quality control, until then I will not be purchasing.

I did a pick up order. The bacon that they picked is 99% fat. First of all why would Hormel even sell this useless bacon, secondly why doesn't the person picking up the bacon, choose a good one. But that is just wishful thinking. They just grab and go. UGH.....

The package of bacon I received was mistly fat and very little meat. It was not worth the cost i paid. Thats what happens when other people pick out your food for grocery pickup. Nobody teaches the shoppers to shop for other people like theyre shopping foe themselves.
