This is rich balcony goodness as good as you're going to find at the grocers. It has old fashioned bacon flavor. The first package I purchased actually was cut thicker than any I've bought since. Apparently that package was a fluke, or the end. While not a thick cut of yesteryear it cooks up thicker than most other leading brands and has deeper flavor than any I've tried in a long time.

Great Bacon
This bacon is delicious and bonus...no nitrates and no preservatives (100% natural). If price comparing then keep in mind, this is 20 ounces and most bacon comes as 16 ounces. This has more meat so great for BLT'S and hamburgers!

The best bacon packaging ever
I love everything about this bacon. First it's thick but not too thick. Second it cooks evenly and third - finally a resealable package for bacon!

Too salty for me and it still contains sugar
This bacon doesn't have nitrates or nitrites added, but it still has sugar and celery salt and is very salty. I was expecting something more like pork belly but guess I didn't look at the ingredient list before purchasing. It's thick cut and has good layers of meat %26 fat, and all slices are about the same. It fries up nicely and makes less grease while frying than regular bacon. I won't be buying it again because it has sugar, which I was trying to avoid, and is way too salty.
