The taste is very good. I use it as I would a pot roast that I would cook. I bake carrots, potatoes,red onion, a little celery and it makes a delicious meal. Add brown and serve rolls with spreadable butter and a nice dessert. Take a walk with the family after dinner. Give the kids a bath and put them to bed. Spend the rest of the evening sipping a glass of fine wine with your honey bunny.

I won't normally even try things like this but for some reason, I read reviews. Everyone loved it. I decided to take a chance. I was not disappointed. The roast was melt in your mouth good with great flavor and natural texture. You could do your own roast at home and it wouldn't be any better. 10/10

I did not exactly follow their preparation guidelines. instead I fried up some mushrooms in butter and then added the meat and juices to the saucepan along with the mushrooms and cooked until hot (just a few minutes). it is the best combination in the world and it makes the meal so good. I only wish that there was a larger size.

As we age, it is harder to prepare big meals. This product helps when it is just my husband and I having a meal. Although not as pretty as my roasts, it is tasty and is just enough for two. I serve it with mashed potatoes for my husband and baked potato for me with a vegetable of our choosing.

As other reviews indicate, preparing the beef over mashed potatoes makes a quick, stress free dinner. This serves two adults, therefore a little costly if needing to buy two packages for a family of 4. Overall, for my busy days, I would recommend for its convenience and good taste.

I like these easy microwave dinners. Cook fast. Senior can get 3or 4 lunches/dinners. Usually bake potato and do veggies in microwave to complete dinner. For lunch just hear up the meat and use au jus sandwich on a toasted English muffin. Filling and delicious. If a family is just 1-2 people, one is all you need. You may need 2 packages if family is larger.

let me say ... this comes close to homemade. pair this with mashed potatoes and a veggie of your choice makes a delicious dinner that takes minutes to make. try it as an open face roast beef or try it on a roll with a few slices of cheese and a side salad ( potato , macaroni etc or even a green salad) of your choice and you have a fast delicious dinner ! the whole family enjoys this one!

This is by far the best roast i have ever had (including made from scratch). It is a bit pricey but worth it! I like to shred it up and most of the time there is very little fat but it is still sooooo tender and has so much flavor! It has a nice au jus and its amazing mixed with steak sauce and mash pot on the side. Great with some flatbread or texas toast too! Good in tacos, sandwiches and or just plain! NEVER found any grisle or anything either! Once the tiny bit of fat is picked out its awesome!

Hormel square table roast beef is the best ready made to eat with aus juice. if you have a hankering for roast beef. Eat it with noodles, with potatoes., alone or add veggies. For a fast good meal it works %26 is really good! I paid $11. for 15oz. I couldn't buy 1 Ib of chuck roast %26 make a meal cheaper or better or tastier. Actually you can't buy just 1 Ib of chuck roast. It sells out a lot so with this big storm coming I was surprised they had 3 left. I quickly ordered all 3 %26 it was delivered today. So happy!!
