These are perfect for our use. We purchased two sets so we could have a unit on each floor of our home. We previously used our land line units as intercoms, but when we quit using the phones the units were big and confined to places where there were phone hookups. These are extremely portable easy to use. The only reason I did not rate them as '5' was the sound quality is totally acceptable but grand. We don't really care about that as they function for us but others might perhaps be more particular.
Works as advertised. Easy to set up. Has great range and signal strength even through metal walls. When on voice activation mode, versus button activation, it will pickup background noises, so very sensitive. Would recommend!
poor performance in our actual home. 1.senior couldn't see /understand buttons. 2.The radio connection between units was very poor. failed 4 out of 5 trials in telephonic mode. 3. volume was too low for a busy house hold. Im not sure what use these would be in a large house.
