Hostess Coffee Cakes, Cinnamon Streusel Snack Cakes, 11.6 oz Box (8 Count)

Hostess Cinnamon Streusel Coffee Cake is a great snack for anytime of the day. They are soft, fluffy cakes, with real cinnamon and topped with yummy streusel. They’re great alone or add fruit, whipped topping or yogurt. My photo shows it with French Blueberry fruit spread and Great Value Greek yogurt. I love to bake but I don’t bake coffee cakes, Hostess does. I am fortunate to get mine shipped to the house and they have always been delivered in perfect condition; no crushed box or cakes. Walmart employees take extra special care to pack it correctly so it arrives in tact. Mine was shipped with an eight pack of Better Goods sparkling seltzer (intact) and that’s why I am absolutely impressed with the care they take. My items arrive in perfect condition. Good job, thank you Walmart and Thank you Hostess.

these are the most delicious little coffee cakes I have ever tasted. the texture is soft, not crumbly. the cinnamon sugar is packed thick around all sides so you get some in every bite. they are very addictive so buy more than you think you need because you'll want more tomorrow.

I am totally addicted to these!!! When I clicked "Yes" on recommending these I almost typed "No" because I didn't want them to sell out before I got them... :( I have a tip on making these even better... 5 secs on either side in the microwave makes them fresh out of the oven!!!

First time trying these and they are really tasty, very fresh and soft, felt and tasted like they were packed right from the oven, the struesel topping wasn't all crumbly and actually stayed on the cake while eating, I'll definitely be pirchasing again!

When I first started buying them, they were out of this world great. When I buy them, I buy at least 4 boxes at a time. But lately, there have been no cinnamon or sugar on the outside or inside. Just plain cake. Some had sugar on top but I haven’t tasted cinnamon in a while. But when made right they’re delicious.

For me, three stars means "average". These coffee cakes were only average. I haven't had these for years, but the texture is not like I remembered. It's more spongy than I think a coffee cake should be. Also, like most other things these days, shrinkflation is apparent in how small these cakes are. I'm going to guess they're about 2/3 the size that they used to be. It's disheartening that this is happening to SO many foods, that they are slowly shrinking the size of everything. I would not recommend these, maybe look around for a different manufacturer next time.

I would have given this a 5 star before now. When my family started having a coffee cake with ca banana every morning with our coffee the cinnamon/sugar crumbs were on the top like icing. Then I could not find in store for over a month when I did start seeing them again the crumb topping was gone and very little left through out the cake

I purchased these because I needed something quick for a brunch to filer I used delivery because I'm unable to drive. These were dry not tasty stale totally disgusting. Shopper didn't look at expiration date but neither did I . They were immediately placed on the table. I don't recommend them. They maybe ok but once the experience is bad no second chance

The texture of the cake is gummy and the brown sugar is always in a solid, dry, hard clump. This doesn't taste like coffee cake either. I generally have never been a fan of any Hostess products, yet I thought I would give these a try, but as usual, I am regretful.

Walmart was out of the marketplace individually wrapped coffee cakes so I tried these I looked at reviews and they looked good. They aren't. Mine had no cinnamon running through and no streusel top. It was tasteless and real small. I'm disappointed. I've tried other brands of coffee cakes, tastykake, Drake's cakes etc much better. I just don't understand how everybody gave these five stars. I'm pretty easy going when it comes to eating sweets and treats but don't bother buying these. Seriously. I wish I would have read this review.
