Hostess Cupcakes, Chocolate Snack Cakes, 12.7 oz Box (8 Count)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Hostess Chocolate cupcakes are very nostalgic for many of us. The creamy filling tastes just like I remember, sweet and light. The chocolate frosting seems drier than I remember, but the cake was still moist and chocolatey. It was nicer to revisit.

Exp. in 1 Month, Dry, Icing starting 2 turn color. These R like Snack Size. Rip-Off. This Brand isn't what it used 2 B. Paying More %26 Getting Less. Wont buy or Trust this Brand again.

Already past the "best by" date when purchased through pickup on July 7, 2022. The icing was brown not white which I thought was intentional until it tasted off too. Gross!!!

The cupcakes were flattened because they were on the bottom of 12 packs of soda

I did a Walmart order on October 7th for my groceries to be delivered and Walmart on Westover blvd Albany ga gave me expired cupcakes and I am currently sick from it

I didn’t ask for this. I also didn’t mark that I would accept substitutions. I will be returning this item and expect a full refund. This is nowhere near the same as Hotess Ding Dongs. If I had wanted this I would have ordered it instead. The second photo below is what I got myself at the store last week. The first photo is what your shopper picked up and substituted.

Check the date! These cupcakes went out of date 10/02/22

Delivered Oct 7, 2025 with an expired date of September 26 , 2025 .

These cupcakes are old . you can look at them and tell they are old

I got home with pick up order and went to put the Little Debbie cupcakes in my pantry snack holder. They looked discolored so I checked the date and it was 3-24. Not happy that they put out of date food in my pick up order!
