The texture is perfection with the perfect sweetness. I feel like these were the perfect snack to hold me over till dinner. My grandma and uncle both with diabetes enjoyed them as well with no huge spikes in sugar so in my book that's a huge win. There so convenient and satisfying when you want something small and sweet. Hostess did a great job again.

The portion is just right for a snack or you can eat more if needed. I only found it a bit not necessary to add too much extra sugar but I guess it is more for those that like sweet stuff.

I wonder if it would taste better warmed. I enjoy the recyclable paper packaging, but the pastry itself was much smaller than expected. The filling tastes good, but the texture was gummy. Almost like rubber. It's an okay snack, but unfortunately not my first choice.
