as a teenager I love these zingers and they still taste the same the first time I tried them thank you again
Well of course these are my favorite. I put them in milk and they are oh so delicious. My only regret is that they dont come in the big box anymore so they are a little expensive to buy as a 3 pack now.
Love these snacks but watch the expiration date on them if you do curbside pickup. The last ones I received had expired 3 weeks before I got them. I'm physically not able to go in the store so I was home when I realized the expiration of date and just couldn't go back.
It didn't taste like the old-school Vanilla Zingers, and neither does the strawberry flavor. I got a sense of medicine in one bite, like they tried to cut back on perhaps the sugar or something else. I am not a foodie, but I know good taste and great flavor. I grew up snacking on ZINGERS, and something in the taste has changed tremendously. However, they are still edible, but I don't think I'll buy them again. Why? I like what I like, and this ain't it.
The product was not expired but the iced cakes in one package was literally rock hard and stale. But, not a big deal. Stuff happens. Just thought you should know
I really wanted to love these, and maybe the ones I got were just off, but there were not near experation date, but I found the cake to be very dry and not very good. I probably will not buy again.
My granddaughter and myself love vanilla zingers. These however were delivered almost 2 months past the sell by date. Not only were they stale they shriveled up. Don't the people who pick out your items see the dates? All they had to do with these was pick up the package and the hardness of it should have told them they were bad.
This was picked out by a Walmart employee, to go with my order for home delivery. It was opened and as hard as a rock. Seriously I could not even squish it. This cupcake was $1.67. Maybe that doesn't sound like a lot. But if I were standing in line at Walmart and I was $1.67 short, I would have to put something back. So, yes, I feel ripped off.
This usually is a tasty snack for me , it did arrive on time but was 2 months expired I'm like does anybody rotate product in the store was thoroughly disappointing. I'm glad it was just a cupcake Can you imagine if it was something that could have been more serious? however Walmart was good and fast to rectify the problem
Every single time I ordered these 2-3 of the packages were not properly sealed and the zingers were stale and hard. These happened the last several months. Besides the poor packaging procedures the ones I have been able to eat never seemed to taste the same as the next batch. I loved these as a kid and had found memories getting them on rare occasions as a treat in my school lunch so I stupidly kept buying them to bring back those memories and hoped it was just a fluke. But whoever took over the Hostess brand and products after they went bankrupt and closed sure doesn't make the same product. The products manufacturing is hot and miss mostly miss. I once in a while they would be good but the products manufacturing and current “Hostess” company are pathetic.
