Hot and Cold Mixing Valve Upgrade Kit

I just had this installed last week and I love it! I have the portable bidet with the hot and cole mix add-on.The mixer is so much more comfortable than cold water alone. I did need a plumber to install the add-on because my husband did not want to undertake it. The unit is mounted on the side of the vanity right next to the toilet so that the sprayer is much easier to reach rather than at the side of the toilet. This is well worth the effort and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to be clean and comfortable.

Great features

This mixing valve has been wonderful - it solves the cold water problem of using a spray cleaner. The provided hose (78") was very adequate and it is a nice touch to include 2 popular sizes of the T junction. I really like the nice H C marks also on the brilliant chrome finish - but as it is down there below the toilet tank one has to get used to it and not look for it every time. What would have made this even more cool would be a back flow preventer so that the toilet supply cold water does not go back to the hot water line and make the sink hot water lukewarm or cold. If one forgets to close this Hot/Cold valve (easy to do as the hand held spray also has a on/off lever) then the cold water goes to the sink. I am looking now for a simple back flow valve to put in. On the whole a very good product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this part for my mom's bathroom so she could have warm water running from her Brondel plastic handheld bidet. We had a plumber install it, and it seemed to be a fairly straightforward and quick job. Once installed, it took my mom some time to get used to handling the bidet and valve handle to get the right water pressure and temperature. In a few days, however, she got the hang of it, and she loves it. So much in fact, that she recommended I buy a spare set for my bathroom. I still haven't installed mine, because the setup in my bathroom will be more complicated. But seeing how much she likes hers, I am excited and looking forward to installing and enjoying mine. The valve is a nice shiny and well built part with a nice weight to it. The tubing that comes with the kit is also long enough, which is very important if the hot water source is not right next to the toilet. This is a great purchase.

I needed to buy an extra adapter to connect the hot water supply to the Brondell valve. I have it less than a month, so am still waiting to see if everything works okay. The valves and hoses are nice quality. I would have preferred a better quality sprayer.

Feels like a solid product and I'm excited to try it but my toilet is not close enough to the sink for the pipe to connect. I luckily have a friend who can help me adapt my situation but I wonder if you would consider asking for measurements from customers to customize the product.

Should have bought this when I purchased the hand held Bidet so much nicer being able to adjust temperature to warm. Would highly recommend no matter what type of Bidet setup you have.

Bought this a almost a month ago and installed it with two of my washroom tanks with a hot water mixed to use as a bidet. Works great, very nice finish and includes all the fixtures that may be needed to make it work for an existing arrangement.
