Stunning tool. I haven't seen these for many years. Nice to see them still having same quality. I remember them when there was the hot oven and the hair dresser would set them inisde to heat. This is electric and still delivers salon quality curls. I'm just an amateur who learns everything thing I know about beauty from YouTube. That said, this was very easy to use. This curling iron from the Hot Tools Signature series is the best curling iron I have ever owned!I have purchased irons twice this price and more, and this one beats them all. There is a separate on/off switch. This iron has different settings, so it is perfect for all hair types and textures. I have real thick, curly,long hair. I adjust the setting towards the medium heat, which is perfect for my hair type. It gives my hair such beautiful long wavy curls, plus my curls stay in so much longer. I use a lower setting on my granddaughters thin, straight hair, she looks so pretty! The iron heats up the surface quickly. It does get really hot on the high setting. When I first used it, I tried a lower setting first and adjusted it to find the perfect heat for my hair type. The curling iron is pretty! The gold plate makes my hair look shiny and smooth..no frizz! The beautiful gold surface with the black looks so gorgeous, I don't mind leaving it out on the counter!There also is a great stand that keeps the heat off you countertop surface. Another great feature is the long swivel cord, so I can work freely at different angles Finally, a curling iron that makes my hair look beautiful!

I paid Walmart $40 for this item. However, it was shipped directly to me by Clover Hill, a Walmart shipper. They had the audacity to leave on the box a label that read: "Clearance, Was $34.99, Now $17.49."

Might be one of the best quality curling irons I've ever had. The cord end swivels freely. Makes a huge difference when doing your hair. Long cord too. Controls are on the side of the curling "lever" so there's no chance of pressing controls accidentally. Heats up fast and evenly. Curls hair as expected. Doesn't snag my hair like with other irons. The weight is good. Not too heavy. I have large hands and the grip bar is long enough. Overall, you can tell the makers put some thought and improvements. I LOVE the swivel cord! No more tangled up mess in the drawer. Highly recommended.

This curing iron is a game changer. It heats up quickly, and has multiple heat level settings. It can be used with or without the clamp and has a stay cool tip for holding hair in place if you use it as a wand. My hair curled quickly with no over heating so it held the curl well for a long time and stayed shiny and healthy!! It has a nice long cord and it swivels so you don't get tangled up. I love this curling iron, I recommend it for anyone that needs a curling iron or wand!

This iron is great! Gets hot pretty fast and has a long cord. It's easy to operate and curls hair like a dream. And I have really thick hair. I have use this on my daughter's hair, too, and works well on her six-year-old hair. Yes, I'd recommend this curling iron.

This is an excellent iron! I have very fine, strawberry blond hair so I need very little heat to give me the soft curls I like when dressing up. So I tried this on the lowest temperature setting (see photo for temperature range) but was still worried it might be too hot since my old iron never gave me a temperature and my hot rollers don’t either! Lol. For those with thicker or coarse hair, the ability to increase the temperature is a GREAT feature. I have to say that I really, really liked the quality of this iron. First, the cord has a heavy duty “spinner” feature that keeps the cord from being in the way or kinking up. You can FEEL the quality in that feature. The same is true of the lever; it feels very well made. There is a nice tension on the wand (like a heavy car door on a really nice car). My old silver iron has crud from products all over it; I have heard the gold barrels do not do that as the gold is higher quality. If I was forced to say something bad about the iron it would be that the on and off button (and light) is on the side. This is a great iron and very good quality.

I absolutely love this Hot Tools curling iron. Heats up quickly and has multiple settings. The hair does not get tangled. With this awesome wand you get beautiful curls that last all day. This is a great product for girls and women. Highly recommend this to a friend.

I really like the Hot Tools Signature Series Gold Curling Iron/Wand, 1 Inch because it has a great design and some nice features. This curling iron is similar in design to the other curling irons that I’ve owned with a few differences. The first thing that I noticed about this curling iron is that everything is slightly bigger on it. The handle, the plastic at the tip that you can rest your fingers on while curling, the buttons, they are all bigger than on my other curling irons which makes it very user friendly when curling and less likely to burn yourself. The next feature I really like is how hot it gets, it seems to be hotter on the lower settings than my other curling irons. Lastly the clamp that holds your hair while curling has a good amount of clamping force for curling. Other irons seem to let go too easily as you are curling the hair. I would rate the Hot Tools Signature Series Gold Curling Iron/Wand, 1 Inch as an overall superior curling product to all the other curling irons that are more of the base models and highly recommend it to anyone looking to buy a new curling iron.

This is not the real brand. It’s a fake knock off. The gold is not right nor the safety tag and screws. Compared it to my real Hot Tools brand and this one is fake. You can see my picture comparing the real brand that’s 1 inch to this fake curling iron that 1 1/4.
