Hot Wheels AI Racing Batmobile Car

I received the Batmobile & Cartridge to use on my Ai racing set. My granddaughter and I had more fun then a 12 year old and 73 year old should have together. Hearing the voice of Batman made it even more realistic and exciting. I highly recommend the Batmobile and Cartridge Kit and the total Ai race system to kids of all ages. We love it, my grandkids and myself. We are building our collection with the newest addition, Batmobile car body and cartridge, which unlocks the authentic Batman voice over and sounds. Gaming controller and track sold separately. They love blowing each other's tires out and the other hazards too and hearing batman talk to them as they race each other around the track. This Batmobile Ai car body and cartridge kit is a fun and cool looking product to add to your Hot Wheels Ai set. The speech and sounds make it feel distinctively Batman, rather than just another cool looking car. It snaps securely on to the car base. It is a bit more challenging to snap off than the original car bodies that come with the starter kit, but not obtrusively so once you get the hang of it. Overall, its a nice addition to the Ai set. The Batmobile was a great way to add a bit of fun to the look of our Ai cars. It was very easy to remove the car body we had and replace it with the Batmobile body. I recommend making sure that the body is indeed attached fully, because the first time I thought it was attached, but it fell off as I didn't connect it properly at both the front and back of the car. The wheel pieces were a bit difficult to remove. It was very simple to put the new wheel pieces in, but once we started racing the car on the track, they didn't stay on very well. My sons were a bit frustrated that they had to keep stopping their race to put a wheel back on. All in all though, we loved the look of the car with the Batman theme. The boys had fun racing it with their "normal" Ai cars. They will probably never switch back to using only non-Batman cars now. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

My son was excited to get it but when I received the toy I was unaware it was just the car body. My son wasn't able to play with it since their wasn't the car inside the body. I did not understand the toy came this way otherwise I would of pick a different toy. I apologize for this mix up and definitely will review the toy before picking next time. This could be mostly my fault. When picking the item for my 8 year old to review, this item looked cool. Upon receiving it we were confused. The car will not work without the rest of Hotwheels AI track and starter set which we do not own. It should have beem stated somewhere clearly that you need the starter pack first. Basically all we were gicen was a shell that will fit over a car and a cartridge to put in a controller. My kids were alexcited to try and begged me for a week to go and buy the starter pack.
