This is definately an improvement on previous HOT WHEELS products. I found it easy to construct with simple to follow instructions. Was put together in about 10 minutes. The set itself is extremaly robust and doesnt fall apart. The only thing that I was not expecting was the noise (did make me jump first time my son played with it) but great fun to play.
I have 2 boys aged 6 and 7, the boys absolutely love Hot Wheels! They love the fact that the dinosaur moves back as the car hits it, this honestly kept them amused for a hours! And it's nice to see them playing with toys other than wanting game consoles etc!
Works but cant usually get cars to go all the around the track which is aggravating. Also jumps don't work well. Had for 4 months and its only been played with about five times bc of not working right. Dissatisfied with the amount of money I spent on this for it not to work right .
This toy requires far too many large batteries and takes up a ton of space. My children enjoyed it for the first week or so, then it was pushed under a bed and was too difficult to put back together to try and bother with it again. The bulky and numerous batteries died quickly.
Bought my son this for Christmas and we were pretty disappointed. The plastic pieces to build the track were pretty bent so putting it together and having it lay the way it should was near impossible. The worst part is the cars would get caught up instead of gliding smoothly around the track. After a few days of fighting with it it's now become an under the bed dust collector. Not worth the money if you ask me.
Our 4 and 6 year olds did not like this item at all, it didn't do what it was supposed to do very well I.e. Dinosaur is supposed to flick up once the car has hit him a few times and it didn't really do that no matter how many times we checked the instructions In fact the 4 year old rated it one star and said 'to put it in the bin' Packaging was OK, not too much of it and was easy to open. Sadly the item is very plastic and cheap plastic too
The box came partially opened. It was in just the original box with no shipping box. The box had perforations for easy opening and it was open across the whole top. Its a Christmas present so I hope no pieces are missing or there will be a very disappointed little boy come Christmas. You should rethink how this item is shipped!! Very unhappy!!
While the race track is fun and my kids enjoy it - it arrived with a box that had been crushed in, pieces were literally just thrown in the box and the 2 cars that were supposed to be included were missing. It was obvious the unit had been used and returned and then Walmart resold it
Track was deformed! Cars got stuck, kids are really disappointed! If I could give it zero stars I would. Definitely not the hot wheels quality I grew up with.
The track is great. However our box shipped damaged and someone had ripped the cars off of the box. It was a bit of a scramble to buy replacement cars that actually worked before Santa came. If I had more time, I would have 100% returned for a refund. It looked like it had also been used the way it was stuffed into the box.
