my children love that the gliders are interchangeable with other mario kart vehicles. they roll well on hot wheels tracks.

Smaller than I thought it would be considering price. Very detailed kart. The top detaches does not seem sturdy. Was a hit w/my Grandsons both of them loved it!!

I bought this toy as a birthday gift for a 5 year old who already had a life long love of hotwheels. He has a new interest in Mario thanks to the new movie (and had a Mario themed birthday party). This toy was perfect for his current interests. If you already own some hotwheels tracks, this toy is AWESOME because it is compatible with them. That really opens up play possibilities. However, if this is your only track piece, it may get a little boring on its own. The chomping flower is a really fun element (for both design and entertainment). the yoshi car that comes with it is super cute. I wish it had two characters with it for racing, but you can buy them separately (I bought Bowser so that there is a good guy and a villain). If your child has other hotwheels tracks (Mario or otherwise), they will love this toy. If it is a stand alone toy, your child will probably want other pieces to add.
