We get this toy for Christmas and our boys (10,7,4,2) had great fun together. Way the cars are spinning is fab and really great. Our boys couldn't left the toy for few hours and that was for few days. Even now ( after almost month) they are playing with the Roto. I think that this toy in one from many they really appreciate and playing so much.
It was easy to put together, really great to look at, as it looks impossible for the cars to do the stunts and brilliant to watch them go round the track. Timing is the key, my 6 year old son had great fun (and spent ages) trying to perfect the time to launch the car into the track, now he's a pro and gets it in every time. The parents have had a harder time!! My son loves it when they crash into each other, he finds it very funny!! It's amazing how long the cars go round for... I would highly recommend this toy, it keeps my son entertained and like so many hot wheels products the parents have fun competing with the kids. Thanks hot wheels!!
My 5 and 7 year old boys absolutely love this. Very easy to set up. Love that the cars keep going round the loops until they crash. Would highly recommend for Hot Wheel enthusiasts
A bit of a faff to put together but I'm not particularly handy with these things. Good quality and my two boys loved it. Car crash madness! Great fun!
My 5-year-old son has had hours of fun playing with this set. It was very easy to assemble, with clear instructions and tips to avoid installing the track pieces incorrectly. My son enjoyed getting the timing right to launch vehicles through the entry points into the rotating loops. He also found it extremely funny when he got the wrong entry point and launched the vehicle into the solid side of the loop, rather than through the entry point. Some vehicles were too big and got stuck before making in into the loop which he also found funny. He enjoyed putting the set away almost as much as actually playing with it, as he could launch vehicles into the parking areas and even use them to turn the set off. Overall the set felt very sturdy and durable. It also stored away easily, with circle/triangle coded pieces so that children can disconnect the launchers and place them onto the corresponding holder in the middle. Like the other motorized sets we have this isn't a particularly quiet set - especially on hard floors, however this hasn't been an issue for us. My son did go through quite a number of vehicles to find ones that would loop around which could be tricky if you only have a small number available.
Received this product for an honest review. My boys were amazed by it. As a parent it was easy to put together and nice that it all comes apart again for easy storage. Once the batteries were in and it was switched on it was very impressive. My almost 5 year old struggled at first to time the car entering the track during the rotation but my 6 year old got the hang of it quite quickly. It took a few attempts to get the car to do multiple loops but really impressive once it did and then became quite addictive to see who could do the most loops. Struggled to time two cars in the track at the same time and one car worked better than the other but still really enjoyable. Wouldn't want little fingers trying to retrieve the cars from the track whilst still moving as spinners do send the car round fast. This toy kept their attention for quite a while and hasn't lost its appeal yet. Trying different hot wheel cars now to see which can do the most loops.
I got this for my 5 year old boy who loves hot wheels cars and crashing them so this sounded ideal. It's basically a rotating centre section with rollers on the tracks that make the cars go super fast and he loves dropping the cars onto the tracks and watching them get sped up and crash into one another - this part is brilliant - there are also 2 end sections with spring pulled releases that you use to eject the cars onto the rotating section through 2 entrances - he hasn't had much luck with these getting the cars onto the rotating centre section and neither have mum and dad - the centre section thankfully keeps him occupied even with this flaw so it's still a highly recommended purchase if your child likes cars and making them crash into one another and off the teack
A surprise present for my two young boys over half term. Both my 6 and 3 year old played with this toy for 2 hrs straight. The materials were robust enough to take plenty of knocks, but my only dislike was the use of 4x D size batteries to bring the toy to life. Without these the toy is rendered useless. This aside, both boys were in ore of the many ways they could add multiple cars at one time.
this was a wonderful idea. It was no up to our expectations. The grandson, who is 6, played with it for 5 minutes and was done with it. The granddaughter, who is 4, enjoyed it just to crash it. It never made a loop.
Sent a damaged item that was clearly used and taped back together. Shame on us for being good planners and buying in advance for our son's birthday so we missed the 30 day return window. Item doesn't work and they wont accept it back. Thanks for making a 4 year old's birthday!
