Hot Wheels Sheet Cake

Amazing cake! We ordered a custom Hot Wheels sheet cake from Walmart and it turned out great. The design looked awesome and the kids loved it. The cake itself was moist, not too sweet, and honestly better than we expected for a store-bought cake. Great value, easy ordering, and a solid choice for a kids' birthday. Tips for best taste: Go with a sheet cake, choose marble flavor, whipped icing, and add Bavarian creme filling. That combo makes a big difference.

Over the years Walmart has lost its touch on cakes in my opinion. Nothing will ever beat the nostalgia of the old spray style cakes I Remember. However. This was very very close. I approximate the cake artist for such an amazing design. Each sticking of the design was PERFECT ! You really would've thought a machine did it. You deserve a raise ! A vacation and a scholarship !! Thank you for your amazing wonderful work. Whoever you are.

The cake was beautiful and delicious! A nice lady called me from the bakery and said that the printer was not working, so the cake would look different. I was skeptical at first, but the cake turned out beautiful! My son had a fabulous birthday and everyone enjoyed the cake. Walmart Bakery rocks! Thank you so much! I look forward to ordering cakes from them again soon! XOXO

My 3 year old son absolutely loved this cake. It turned out perfectly and was so cute!! I was very impressed by the quality. I also love the taste of Walmart cakes. They're so good. Ordering and pick up was a breeze. I would definitely order from Walmart again.

The decoration on top of the cake was extremely small compared to the cake size. You can see in the picture what it was supposed to look like, extending the full width of the cake, versus what we got. Not only was it really small, the decorative paper wasn't laid down properly and there were bubbles everywhere. There was a white inner border that was piped to go around the paper but the paper wasn't centered and it looked weird. It also wasn't flat across and was sloping on the sides. That alone wouldn't be a big deal but overall this was a sloppy cake. Last year we ordered a 2 tier cake from this Walmart and it was great. This year was a big disappointment. The cake itself was a white cake with a cream center. It was ok, nothing out of this world but good enough.

The cake was not completely decorated but I didn't say anything. I figured whatever we will eat it anyway. The chocolate was rich, the frosting was sweet but I wouldn't suggest the strawberries. It's more of a jelly the middle. Definitely do not think it's worth the money either.

I literally ordered this cake bc of the hot wheels for my son's 3rd racecar birthday party, when the cake was picked up it looked NOTHING like the picture. When I called the manager was wonderful and helpful about getting a new cake fixed, then the designer called back and she was RUDE %26 short with me. Like it was my fault that they didn't have the materials to produce the pictured cake. When I asked for a remake she was rude again. When we went to pick up the cake it was 3x smaller than what I had originally ordered and she spelled my son's name wrong. I will NEVER order another cake from Walmart.

The cake didn't work anything like the photo. I ordered a whole sheet cake and there was a miniature plastic ramp on it with a car. It looked incredibly silly and scale. The photo shows made printed photo of the hot wheels and they just made ours blue with some makeshift orange frosting trucks are there I had to take the decorations off and buy cars to put on top of the cake. in the photo attached all the decorations on the cake are ones I had to buy separately.

I ordered this cake and the sheet was very sloppy it was a smaller size than the actual cake and wasn't fully covering the cake like the picture . The baker rushed the cake and didn't even come with the hot wheel cake kit/track as shown on the pic and she said they didn't have anymore but didn't bother to let me know. I asked to get a discount they didn't want to give me a discount either. Luckily I spoke to customer service and they gave me a refund. Which I was satisfied about, but I don't think I'll order a cake from Walmart again.

I order a print out eatable sheet hot wheels! I went to pick it up and the bakery staff stated “our machine broke down so I had to free style”. The cake looked horrible, something I could have done (kid drawing). Unfortunately the birthday was within 2 hrs so I had no choice but to keep it and report it to Walmart customer service (corporate). I ended up getting a discount of $15 but still! I will never ever again choose Walmart for cakes! The taste was amazing but the aesthetic horrible! ALSO Walmart didn't bother to tell me that their machine wasn't working. They didn't get my approval to do a “free style” they just did it! I had to add a bunch of hot wheels to make it look “decent”
