Amazing toy and my kiddos love it!
Grandson completely enjoys this. The jumping of the cars is so exciting for him!!
I would recommend this to anyone with a small boy. Easy set up. Only a small area is needed for play. Very simple & fun to knock down the targets. Great for 2 kids to play together, because they can race each other. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
This race set is a perfect " pack and take " Hot Wheels set to enjoy anywhere. Easy and quick assembly makes this also a great set to play with. Only draw back is not all cars work with this set as it has a height limit on the cars that will work, but overall this is a great race set. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Overall, I'm typically against any additional track sets coming into my house because they break easily and lose parts. This track, however, is awesome! My 2 children (ages 5 and 2) loved blasting cars to knock down the signs on top and it provided hours of laugher instead of fighting. It also has easy construction, which facilitates play. Received the Hot Wheels Super Speed Blastway yesterday and my son has spent the better part of th afternoon playing with it. His review? "This is really cool, Mom!" Assembly is required, though not difficult. Box includes picture instructions. Took about 15 minutes to put together, including adding the sticker decals to the track. also included is one race car, though my son quickly found quite a few that work with this track (note the box indicates not all hot wheels are compatible). There are two tracks that allow the cars to loop around depending on how hard you push down. You can also lift up a piece of the track and attach other track pieces, allowing the race cars to go down and underneath instead of around the loop. What I happen to like about this particular set is that it doesn't take up a lot of floor space and is a space saver on the shelf since it can be easily taken apart. Overall the product is well done. The age recommendation is 4+ but even my 2 year old was able to play with us. The grey turn around portion of the set comes off as rather plain. Maybe they could use different colors or add some stickers to make it pop a little better. While we did have fun playing with this set, it's not something the kids will sit and play with for hours at a time. However, the track pieces and blasters have Mattel's universal fitting so you can always add other playsets and/or track to make this one a little more complex. This set gets our recommendation regardless. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
My boys were so excited to play with the Super Speed Blastway™ Track Set! The set came with one car but since we have many cars they could frequently change which car they wanted to be to race each other. No batteries were required so once it was built it was ready to go! The track has dual launchers so 2 kids can play at once to race each other to release the checkered flag to win. The track isn't too big so would be great to take on trips and stores easily. I received this product for free and it was tested out by my kids ages 6 and 8. This toy took my husband about 20 minutes to put together, meanwhile my kids were breathing down his neck excited to play with it. When it was finally done, the kids raced to try it out and 20 minutes later they were done. First of all, the cars kept sliding off the track. In the booklet that was provided there were tips for better play. They suggested that you didn't pound on the levelers that released the cars but hey, the kids are 6 and 8 and it was more fun for them to pound on it. Secondly, when the cars stayed on the track, they would sometimes get stuck in the loop. Lastly, I think my kids were a little too old for this toy. I think this toy would hold the attention of younger kids say in the 3-5 year old range, better [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
My two boys ages 5 and 7 played with this alot when we first took it out of the box. It was easy to assemble and doesn't require batteries like so many of the other hot wheel sets. They quickly lost interest as the day went on. They say they wish their cars could crash into each other as well. They like to challenge each other to see who can knock the people out first. But after a few turns they go off and play with something else. It is made rather well. Standing up to lots of pounding from overly excited kids. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
