My son says this toy is "totally awesome". We had so much fun recording slow motion videos of crashes. He had a blast finding different things he could put on the cars and see how the crashes changed and watch the items fly out. The stand worked great for my iphone and ipad. My 5 year old grandson says the Hot Wheels Versus Track Set definitely has the " Wow Factor"! The assembly was easy to set up, and the height can be adjusted, as well as, it attaches to other hot wheels sets giving numerous positions to race. My grandson loved the fact that this track is a collision course of excitement, and it comes with 2 cars with clips to use. The clips allow a child to attach objects to the cars in order to make better crashes. Children watch in amazement the instant replays.on the "smart device" included which was simple to attach to my iPhone. I always say, the best way to know the value of a toy is within how many hours the child actually wants to play! Well, this is the #1 toy that my grandson and his friends choose. This track set has the exciting difference that the others do not possess! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I received this toy for my son who loved it. It was easy and fast to put together. My son enjoyed using the media stand to take pictures and record videos of crashes. He also had a lot of fun finding different toys to put in the cages to see how the crashes would be. It took a few tries to do both tracks at the same time though. Hot Wheels Versus is totally awesome. How great to incorporate a smart device to allow your stunt drivers to watch a replay of the colossal crash! My son loved that there were track ideas and how-to-videos on the Hot Wheels You tube Channel! What a great idea to design the car with clips to allow experimentation- hours of fun figuring out what makes your car crash better?! My son also loved letting his minifigures take a ride, and watching them crash. This is a fantastic toy! Hot wheels rocks-allowing you to expand the track and design countless possibilities. Great imaginative play! Hour and hours of fun! Mattel and Hot Wheels- LOVE THIS:))))))))) [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
My grandson love this. It was his 3 yr old Birthday present
This is a great toy for boys ( of all ages)they get to race and crash cars. What boy doesnt like to do that. They can move the track in several different directions so it's not always the same and keeps their attention. The stand for a tablet is great so you can watch the playback of the crashes and who won the race. Everything is included except the tablet . This product is a really great and I would recommend it to everyone. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Putting together the pieces of the track and accompanying media stand were very simple. The instructions were clear and simple and even give a few play options. The track is easy to use and the positions of the two tracks can be changed to make the cars crash at different angles. The height of the two tracks can also be moved up or down. The product includes two cars that have a "claw" to hold small items to make the crashes more dramatic. I tried different items in the claw and found that it worked best using something the claw could hook on to. This keeps the item from falling out before the two cars collide. I used an iPhone for the media stand which works but would probably be better with a large tablet. The phone fell off a few times while I was trying to set it up to take pictures/record because the phone is smaller and the stand is not adjustable. Overall, this Hot Wheels toy was fun to play with. My son enjoyed making cars crash in various ways and recording/taking pictures of the crashes. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Upon opening the box, I noticed a piece was missing but that didn't stop my son from playing..he was so eager to play I had to improvise. The track was very easy to put together but cheaply made. My son isn't hard on his toys but I don't see it lasting more then a few months.. My son enjoyed playing my himself as well as with a friend. He liked watching the cars crash and even built his own pit for the cars to crash in to. He also liked that his other hot wheels cars can be played on the track as well. Overall we enjoyed playing with the track and would be a great purchase for a 4+ year old that likes playing with hotwheels cars. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
My child couldn't wait for the UPS man to come to deliver his package being that he loves hot wheels. After the toy assembly which was very easy he has had non stop fun. He loves the fact that the car can crash. He's not very enthused over the clamps on the top of the car doesn't catch his interest. I asked him what he doesn't like about it and he said the fact it's over to quickly and then you have to set back up. I asked him what he loves about the product and he said the secondary assembly option where their side by side and head to head racing. The equipment that came for a electronic device is not very age appropriate I think you could do with out it because my child is just interested in the toy play not the recordings being that it's over too quickly, but overall he has had a blast with this and even when his friends come over that's the first toy he pulls out. My 4 year old had no problem assembling the toy once I got it out of the packaging. It easily attaches to other hot wheel race tracks for more play (sold separately). It took me, the grownup, a few tries to get the tripod to hold my iphone 6 for videoing but once the kinks were worked out my son had a blast. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
