I actually use these as tiny portable heating pads for minor aches and pains. They provide warmth, don't smell and are disposable. They are also a fraction of the cost of actual therapeutic heating pads.
we used the warmers for an outside cat house where feral cats have been sleeping. They're getting closer to us and didn't want them to freeze in the single digit temps. We activated 2 hand warmers and placed under their blankets on the fat house. Worked great! Stayed warm for almost 24 hrs.
Bought these for the IU/Purdue football game last year because it was going to be freezing. Ended up forgetting them and letting my kids use them for cold minutes at the bus stop and on the bus early mornings. They both really seem to enjoy them. They say they last long.
These are high quality hand warmers. Easy to use and the size is perfect for on the go. Put in your pocket for added warmth on chilly nights. I keep a few for emergencies. Keep a few in each of my vehicles just in case we get stuck in the snow. Highly recommend!!
Originally bought for myself for use during frigid winter weather but instead were used by myself and my extremely appreciative snowed in coworkers and even some inmates(yes, I work at a prison) during the unforeseen ice storm in January. Our facility was the only functioning building in our town and surrounding areas. Even walmart was closed at the time
I have tiny veins, so when it comes to having blood labs or IV administered, it is very difficult for medical staff to perform and painful for me. I find it easier to hold one of these warmers in my hand minutes before to help blood circulation. It works like a charm.
could not have survived the winter without these they saved our ties and hands while being without heat that was below freezing in the south . greatest purchase I ever did make. myst gave fir everyone it don't get to hit on bare skin either not recomened. but just saying there great for feeling your hands while working round the clock in freezing temps
I've been using these for several years since moving to upstate New York. Handy to keep in the car or purse for extra warmth on very cold days. Since turning 60 my circulation has decreased and my fingers suffer. These warmers are just the right size for jacket pockets or slipping into gloves to keep them warm until I'm ready to wear them. Soft, flexible and more comfortable than hard rechargeable warmers. And they REALLY do last 10 hours. I don't use heat in the car because ONLY my fingers get cold, so these are perfect for driving in the cold. If I don't go outside after the warmers have been activated and used for several hours, I tuck them under the sheets at the foot of the bed, or under the old cat's blanket so none of their heat goes to waste.
This product is definitely good for emergencies. My daughter is in parades so it definitely help with the cold and chilly nights. The only con I can think of is that it takes a while to heat up. So I would activate it at least 15 to 20 minutes prior to when I need it.
I must have during the cold winter days when it's so cold your fingertips hurt something awful even with gloves on. however the hot hands brand definitely shocked me in the fact that they were actually less effective than the off-brand that I've purchased at Menards. they do not heat up as quickly nor stay activated as long as the off-brand or as they advertise on the label. when it is bitter cold out they are inconvenient in the fact that they don't tear open easily even at the spot on the label that instructs you to tear at that location more often than not I have to take my gloves off and expose my fingers to the cold outside just to open then
