Get the hand packs started before you put them in gloves or pockets. Once they are started they will be putting out heat for a good number of hours. If you wait (when you actually need the warmth) to start them you will be uncomfortable until you have them heating. I have used them when having to be outside, when the power has gone out, and just as some added warmth when sitting watching TV.

I am a Walmart associate. I would give these warmers 5 stars across the board, but I work in a freezer and I think there's room for improvement. Overall, I recommend. Good price, good product.

I can't live without these in the winter. My hands are always cold and they are wonderful for feeding animals in cold weather. I put several of them in pockets and gloves when I need to work outside in the winter. I sometimes sleep with one under my pillow for warmth in the winter too.

These are much warmer and softer than other hand warmers. The heat also lasts much longer! And of course getting a huge box of 50 at such a great price is even better! I do love Walmart and Sam's Club! I use these at work sometimes, but always when I go running in the cold weather. I think they are amazing! I also have renaud's syndrome in my hands, where the tips of my fingers lose circulation when they get cold. Nothing keeps them warmer in the winter.

Give as a gift to anyone having to work outside!! It works as it should and you don't have to grovel to sups that don't want to give up "their" hot hand stash

I use these ever winter and they truly work. I highly recommend these for those who work outdoors. They last all day and they're so worth worth having on those days that are really cold.
